  1. I think the scenario he is talking about is a plan with 1 person and 2 devices where 2 people are connected to the network with laptops. Then one leaves and forgets to logoff the laptop but wants to connect the phone. The new connection would bump the oldest connection, in my experience.
  2. No it will not let you choose which device you bump... You will bump the device that has been connected the longest.
  3. Thanks, there wouldn't be any charge since I booked with points and can cancel a rebook without penalty. Unfortunately LGA isn't an option. I'm flying JetBlue and it's either EWR or JFK. Very cool helicopter idea, I might even do it if was alone. DW would scratch my eyes out if I tried to get onboard that little thing.
  4. I wish they'd let you just upload a picture you have instead having to take a selfie. Usually when I'm checking late, late in the evening both DW and I don't look our best.
  5. cruisemapper app and cruisemapper.com is my go to for cruise ship tracking.
  6. bungie cords, zip ties and duct tape sound like things a serial killer would carry 😜 JK 🙂
  7. What do you think the difference is between the ones on 12 and 14 that they would categorize them differently.
  8. Sorry to ask what might be another dumb NYC question... I'm booking flights and the intention was to fly in to Newark and stay there since we are cruising out of Cape Liberty but now that plan has changed and I want to stay in Midtown. Would I be better off flying into JFK and flying out EWR after the cruise or should I stick with EWR both legs?
  9. We've got one of those D4 aft facing balconies deck 14. I'm so surprised that they categorized them as standard OV balconies and not OV with large balcony. Not that I'm complaining!!! I'm quite looking forward to that unobstructed aft view
  10. I don't believe it is automatic... If you are just text to iPhones and iPads you don't need to worry about it but if you want any texting to androids or to make any calls you will need it.
  11. No charge from your provider. As I said in my previous post set it up and test it prior to getting on the ship so there are no issues once on board. 🙂
  12. Yeah I have it enabled all the time, it doesn't hurt anything and if your cellular goes down while you are at home or otherwise hooked up to wifi calls and texts will still come in. I always encourage folks to set it up at home and test it. Put your phone in airplane mode and make and receive a call.
  13. What retail business doesn't have some sort of promotion or sale running almost continuously? I'm not sure why anyone is surprised Royal does it. Right now... Princess up to 40% off Carnival $100 OBC + 1/2 deposits + 35%off NCL 50% off + $250 OBC Dillards up to 40% off Home Depot up to45% off tools Camping World up to 40% off I could go on and on and on but I've made my point. Why people seem to want to slag off Royal Caribbean but not other retail establishments is utterly incomprehensible to me.
  14. Absolutely, next time on Oasis I'd definitely order from it again. My Dickey's comment wasn't meant as a criticism so much as a way of setting expectation.
  15. I always cruise at this time. The first couple of weeks of Dec are often good prices. The weeks overlapping Christmas and New year are the expensive weeks. One thing to watch for is the date Thanksgiving. I have had to book flights the day after Thanksgiving when it was late like it will be in 2024 and you will pay a premium for that. Also, sorry no one can help with TA's on the board. That's not allowed and direct messaging is turned off on CC
  16. I think, but am not positive, that you need wifi calling enabled to text with non-iphone user via regular SMS.
  17. JR's milkshakes and Virgin Miami Vices was DW go with her vouchers.
  18. Amazing pictures @bobmacliberty! I'm even more stoked for my fall trip to NYC prior to our Liberty Canada N/E cruise. Sadly I only have two full days in the city and more things to do and see than I have time. Plan so far... I'm going to try and find a midtown hotel... TBD Day 1: Morning walk through Central Park Lunch @Trump Tower Afternoon in Times Square Dinner @TBD Empire State Building Sunset experience Day 2: Morning Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from morning overlapping lunch into the afternoon. Afternoon St. Patricks Cathedral Dinner @TBD Broadway show... likely Wicked. Am I jamming to much or conversely is there something I have to find a way to shoehorn into the schedule?
  19. I was thinking this same thing... I had one of those Ultra Spacious OV's and it was great...
