  1. Pappy, you’ve received a lot of good advice. The only thing I can add is: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Just go and enjoy your cruise. Dave
  2. The book/waitlist option is very useful but, unless it has been fixed recently, I ran into one gotcha. Booking one excursion and then attempting to waitlist a second excursion did not work because the system said there was a time conflict. However, waitlisting an excursion first and then booking another excursion was allowed. Dave
  3. I agree completely. The best option I saw on this thread was to change the start time to 6 pm ET and to move the IT window to midnight ET. Mike noted that the IT window could not be moved because it would be too close to the Sunday opening hours of the UK office. If feasible, an easy solution would be to change the Sunday opening hours of the UK office to accommodate an IT window beginning at midnight ET. So we would have a once weekly change in UK office hours versus inconveniencing a substantial number of US and Canadien passengers every day of the week. Favoring the UK office over the majority of passengers on Regent seems very unfair to me. Dave
  4. You can only pre-book each specialty restaurant once per segment. Subsequent times are booked after the cruise begins. As far as I know, there are no lunch reservations. On the Explorer or Splendor, Chartreuse or Prime 7 do not require a reservation for lunch. Dave
  5. No. You’ll get three pre-booked reservations on the first segment and another set of reservations on the second segment for a total of six pre-booked reservations. You can’t pre-book a specialty restaurant more than once per segment. So, for example, you couldn’t pre-book Chartreuse once per segment, Pacific Rim twice in the first segment and Prime 7 twice in the second segment. Dave
  6. You can book services before your cruise. From the website: “Guests can reserve treatments at Serene Spa & Wellness™ by contacting our spa representatives at 1.877.718.4244 or SereneSpa@rssc.com between 60 to 7 days prior to sailing.” Dave
  7. I think you’ve misscalculated. The business class flights you want would not cost $699 each way per person. You have to add in the air credit amount to get the correct total. In 2024 the Alaskan air credit is $700. So upgrading to business class with Regent air would cost you $699 plus $699 plus $700 for a total of $2098. In addition, if you deviate, there is an additional fee of $175, which I believe is per person. That brings the total per person airfare to $2273. I’m sure you can do better than that on your own. Dave
  8. I think you may be looking at an old, out of date gift form. I just checked the current gift form and the Dom Perignon is listed at $240 per bottle while the Veuve Clicquot is $85 per bottle. My memory is that on my Explorer cruise last March in Japan, the Veuve Clicquot was either $80 or $85. Dave
  9. In your account, pull up your cruise and click on “MANAGE THIS BOOKING.” If there are culinary classes available, you’ll find a link to them in the customization section of the page. Dave
  10. +1 Just go to the Regent website and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. There is a link called “UPDATE MARKETING PREFERENCES” under the Resources heading. When you click that link, you may opt out of some or all of Regent marketing. Dave
  11. Mike, thanks for your explanations. I see one technical error though. Previously, the amount shown on the website as an allowance only included the credit for not taking Regent Air. If someone also opted to forgo the included hotel night an additional credit for that amount would be added to their invoice. So, using the figures in your example above, a person not taking Regent Air or the included pre-cruise hotel night, would get an air credit of $2500 and a hotel credit of $500 for a total credit of $3000. Based on this entire thread, I guess you would have to have four price columns to satisfy some people. You would need the all inclusive and cruise only columns you have now plus a cruise plus flight column and a cruise plus hotel column. Dave
  12. Your information is not correct. 907 does not have an opaque railing. I have attached a picture of the starboard side of the Splendor. I marked 907 for you. Seven_Seas_Splendor_74498.jpg 949×712 pixels.pdf Dave
  13. snorkle lover, the reason the Regent website says “up to $2700” is because you may only use Regent air in one direction. For example, if you were only using Regent air from Atlanta to Barcelona, the air credit would be $1350. I don’t understand your reference to the “domestic flight amount.” Dave
  14. Doing a dummy booking on the website works. Just try a booking without air. The cruise summary page will show you what Regent calls the air allowance or air credit. An alternate method is to simply look at the main page of your cruise on the Regent website. About halfway down the page, the air credit is shown. Here’s the example for your April 14, 2024 Splendor cruise: Mediterranean Luxury Cruise - Barcelona to Rome (Civitavecchia) on Apr 14, 2024 Regent Seven Seas Cruises.pdf So the round trip air credit per person for your cruise is $2700. If you are doing an air deviation or flying from a secondary Regent airport, be sure to add those fees to the air credit to get the total cost of using Regent air. Dave
  15. NCLH has a players club for its three brands (NCL, Oceana, and Regent). See: https://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/casino-cruise/players-club. Dave
  16. On the Regent website, the virtual tour of the concierge suite has a measurement tool. Using that tool I think the width of the area between the wall and the desk is about 2‘4“. Dave
  17. Either suite should be fine. 908 is not under the entrance to the bridge which is further forward. Instead, it is under cabins that I believe are used by bridge and senior officers. 806 also has suites above and below it. Personally, I probably would choose 908. Dave
  18. You’re correct. Of course you can always call Regent and the agent can give you payment information. Whenever I make a payment, my TA sends me an updated Regent invoice showing current payment information. Dave
  19. Just a website error, Wendy. If you continue to the cruise summary, you’ll see that you would get business class from Toronto to Barcelona and economy class from New York to Toronto. 🙂 Dave
  20. If you do a dummy booking on the Regent website, it will tell you how much credit you get for not taking the hotel. Assuming your cruise is the April 2024, Barcelona to Rome cruise on the Splendor, the hotel credit is $190 per person. Dave
  21. I believe it is $29.99 per day. The $9.99 charge is to enable streaming on a connection you already have. Dave
  22. Marc, for the Voyager, I see a gap between November 26, 2025 and December 17, 2025. Dave
  23. As the photo indicates, the wine is the Raymond R Collection Lot 5 Field Blend. It is on the list posted by Pack Leader above under the category of “Additional Wines.“ Dave
  24. I think a better comparison is to the Navigator which is slightly smaller than the R class ships and carries 496 passengers. The Mariner is significantly larger than the R class ships. Dave
  25. Unfortunately, no. Regent categorizes these flights as domestic so you only get economy air. Dave
