Yes, the connecting room makes no difference in configuration. There is just a door in the hallway.

They were on my January cruise on the Regal. Except for the dining rooms and having to teach a lot of them how to use the slots, they weren't really noticible. As for dining, it was horrific. Only one dining room was open until 7:45 so even if you had a reservation, you were in line forever and the service was terrible. After 2 nights, we just decided to go to one of the dining rooms that was closed until 7:45...went at 8 pm. Walked right in and got great service.

That's what Princess told my TA. We booked this cruise over a year ago so my TA paid what it was going for at the time. I'm going to ask when we board. I'm more concerned about being able to get drinks that are priced up to $15 as there has been price increases. I only get a few glasses of wine that are more expensive than the package allows. Gotta have my Barolo when dining in Sabatini's.

Have the new prices kicked in? Is anyone on board who paid the lower price for the Plus package and are you getting drinks included up to $15? Just curious as to how things are going right now with the changes. We cruise in a couple weeks. My TA paid for the plus package for us. I asked about upgrading to the Premier Package and was told $1072 each to upgrade. Yikes, that's a big no. It's a 18 day cruise.

I'm doing a front facing next September for Alaska and I think for glacier viewing it will be wonderful. I did one for Hawaii and one for Mexico. Only 1 day on the way back from Hawaii was I unable to use it. It is windy but if you sit, the balcony rail blocks most of the wind.

I always thought that the daily gratuities were for everyone, customer facing and behind the scene. What I've heard is that if you remove the automatic gratuities, the tips you pay out individually have to be turned in to be spread out. But removing the automatic tips, that $50 you give your steward is not $50.

My step-son's casino cruise has been cancelled on him 6 times. It has nothing to do with the casino not paying as the cruise is too far out. It's just sheer ineptness on Princesses part.

Last time we could get the parmesan bowl was 2019 in club class. My husband misses it.

We'll be joining you in Santiago. We're heading to Lima on the 13th for the Machu Picchu land tour prior to the cruise. So glad it re-opened. Got my altitude medicine for Cusco today!

I have a front facing mini on Lido for an Alaska cruise in September. I think it'll be perfect for viewing.

I've sailed out of SF twice since August. August was a breeze. Once we got past security, we went to the elite boarding area and went right on. You will board after elite and full suite guests. They didn't look at your boarding group, just your status and cabin. In November it was a total disaster but that's because the cruise before us was a 4 day over thanksgiving cruise and it was way over capacity because of all the kids. We waited over an hour because the ship wasn't ready. They then called for elite and suite and no one would get out of the way to let us board. Eventually we got on. So, it depends.
