  1. My experience is that after you are assigned it will take about 3 days for them to show up in your cruise documents. FYI - I just checked and my docs are available for my Dec 3 cruise but not for my Dec 11 Cruise. I think the become available at 21 days pre cruise much of the time.
  2. Go to this link and select Ship then select month from drop down - https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/127-celebrity-roll-calls/ If your cruise does not have one you can create one and others can join. Most of the time you will find an existing Roll Call
  3. No. Roku has a popup that gives you a URL you type and then a logon screen pops up. If your content is restricted out of the U.S. you will need a VPN which takes quite more difficult portion of the equation. FireStick has built in VPN apps.
  4. Once on the ship when you create an account it gives you all the options and upgrades. Your discounts are already applied via the app. Just click your choice.
  5. They have a separate entrance with a big Vertical Flag outside the door. You checkin at a Suites Desk and then will either sit in a Fenced Off Area that has coffee and pastries if boarding has not begun. If boarding has begun you just board.
  6. That's a really good idea. Didn't think of that.
  7. On Solstice for December - They have Luminae under Main Dining Under Loyalty & Suites they only have Michael's Club Captins Club Specialty Coffee Break at Tuscan Concierge Lunch
  8. I have had troubles when I used a Samsung Remote with it screwing up the TV. The TV's are now more like a Computer Monitor and when I used a Samsung remote - It would work on a couple rooms I had but others locked out the ability to use the room remote. You can use your room remote to get to all of the inputs.
  9. The current process is you use your express pass to get on the ship. Once on the ship you can go immediately to your room where you will find your SeaPass in the mail slot adjacent to your room. You can drop off your luggage and put things in the safe but they ask you to remain in the common areas while they finish off preparing your room.
  10. I enjoyed them but much preferred the Polish that they dropped. Booo Hooo..
  11. I don't recall ever seeing Root Beer on any of the Celebrity fleet. Generally the provision all the ship with the same products and don't customize them to a specific ship.
  12. As above I've seen it both under Main Dining and Loyalty and Suites. Would be nice if they were consistent.
  13. You just let the Restaurant Manager for Le Petite Chief 24 hours before dining. You don't do it at time of reservation.
  14. To my knowledge it is Samsung across the fleet going back 15+ years
  15. Looks like Beyond Sailed. I went to look and she is down around Miami already.
  16. You should be able to do it yourself on this link. If it fails you will have to call in https://www.celebritycruises.com/future-cruise-credit

  18. I learned everything I know by searching on YouTube. Maybe living less than 3 miles from Google and Apple help ..LOL. Many hotels use a similar log on screen as Celebrity. One thing i found is that Roku now has the ability to press a button and you get a URL that will allow you to logon and is links you to the web page.
  19. A good resource is the various Wave Models. They forecast out My favorite is http://www.stormsurfing.com/cgi/display.cgi?a=natla_height Also use Windy on smart device. Another focused on the Caribbean and two weeks out https://www.myfoxhurricane.com/ww3_sigwave_car.html
  20. You will find that getting through customs will take about 1 hour. Airport is quite far out and will take 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. The biggest problem you may have is what to do with your luggage if you want to do something prior to the cruise. A possiblity is a public luggage storage like - https://stasher.com/luggage-storage/buenos-aires
  21. Will definitely be following along. Hope you enjoy Silhouette as much as we did. Hope you have a wonderful cruise.
  22. ohhh.. yes.. Please. Sounds like the supply chains problems (excuse used for everything lately) has been fixed. I'm hoping for some nice cheese on our next cruise in December.
  23. I would grab whatever you can get as early as you can. We arrived in FLL just as they shutdown all cruises due to Covid. The airlines immediately put in waivers but we had to wait 2 days for a flight if we wanted to get First. We could have flown earlier but would have flown coach at the first fare we had already paid. Luckily the airlines had it setup so you could do everything online without calling in.
  24. Now back to the OP's Question. You should search as I've posted often on this topic and most of my live posts I've done a tutorial. Task 1 - Attach your device and switch to HDMI Channel - While I'm using Roku everything also works on Fire Stick A quick Google will always answer most of your questions -- Fire TV Stick do not have a dedicated web browser, but they do have a hidden app (CaptivePortalLauncher) that will open a web page to access a captive portal. This app will open a browser window only during Wi-Fi sign in. From the Home screen, select Settings > System > Wi-Fi. Under Available Networks, select the public Wi-Fi network. For networks that require a web page to log in, a browser window will pop up after several seconds. Follow the on-screen instructions to use your Amazon remote to select text fields or enter cursor mode to select a button. An on-screen keyboard will open for text fields. Enter in the required information. This could be a pre shared password, room number, or just a button to accept conditions for using the network. Contact the network owner for more information After your device connects to the network, the browser window closes automatically. Alternatively - Go to YouTube and search under attaching Fire stick Hotel Easiest to to have a small travel router - First from phone or Laptop connect and logon to the router using the ip address - select the Wif-Guest - From you browser yo can now log on normally and the router will stay connected. Now just link your Firestick to your router. Using any device you may find you are locked out since you are out of the U.S. You can get around this by having a VPN account. The advantage of Firestick over Roku is Fire Stick has VPN apps and you can use it to spoof that your are outside of the U.S. Good Luck and remember - Google and YouTube can be your best friend.
  25. Definitely don't take offense from your post and hope you don't take offense to my reply. We each enjoy a cruise in a different way. I for one am not a drinker and can't figure out why anyone would enjoy sitting around a bar and drink all day, but many do and I respect their choice. Others need constant organized activities while others like me rarely participate and find lots to do from, reading, walking and enjoying life at sea. I for one not only bring one Fire stick but usually bring one for the living room and bedroom. No I don't sit around all day in our suite but sometimes when in a Penthouse or Royal Suite it is a nice place to just chill and enjoy life at sea. I guess we may all agree that TV Programming on ship is terrible. I do like watching the news both in the morning while eating breakfast in our room at in the evening. I do not watch either FOX or MSNBC as thy are so polarized in both direction. With a media device I can watch my Local News and generally record it to play on the time zone I'm at. We probably live on Celebrity 3 months or more out of the year so for us it is more of a home than needing instant gratification and needing to be entertained.
