If it says your bid was accepted you should also see a charge on your CC. Also when you go to Manage your reservation it should show you new room if upgraded.
-
Have you checked your credit card to see if the deposit went through on you CC. I setup alerts and when I book I get an immediate notification that a charge was made. Unless you will be past final payment you could always call Celebrity and have them book and then Transfer to your agent when he returns.

Got to agree 2,530 Sq Ft or 232 Sq Meters of room including balcony is impressive. In the old days it would take me 20 minutes to close all the curtains, turn off the lights etc. Thank goodness they automated it all. I really miss the Olympic Style Dining rooms. They were truly reminiscent of the Golden Age of Cruising. -

Good news all my eye surgeries went well - After 2 months I think I will be cleared by my doctor on Monday. 20/20 and no longer have to wear glasses. It's quite an eye opener (sic). -

Chemo - you have me in stitches. I lost a pair of glasses and handn't been out of the room. We both searched everywhere including under the bed, behind the end tables etc.. in vain. That night after dinner they were on my end table next to my bed. I asked the Stateroom attendant about them and said he found them while vacuuming. Iain always claims I could loose anything but even he couldn't find them. -
Your making me hungry looking at all those beautiful Tapas. It is incredible the endless variation and selection that are available.
-
There are a couple other really good suggestions on this thread.

Excellent recommendation. I also have a couple variations that have 1 or 2 USB ports on the side. Also I find a couple of these really eliminated my need for a USB ports -

Celebrity is allowing people to outbid your MoveUp offer
Jim_Iain replied to otownfins's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It's possible - I had one bid and when I looked later found the Minimum and Maximum bid amounts had been increased. Thus those that bid at the minimum would then be below the new minimum. Alternatively I saw another bid where both the Minimum and Maximum had decreased significantly. I changed my bid to a lower amount and ended up winning. Good idea to periodically check you bid (using change bid and see where the slider shows Min and Max.) -
Soltice was Dry Docked October 2021 ,what do you think ?
Jim_Iain replied to mcrcruiser's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Solstice had a regular dry dock for Maintenance and some Soft Good replacement. She has not gone through the Revolution and has the Original Michael's Club with Dark wood, No Retreat Sun Deck, Still has the Basketball court and still has the original White Hull Paint pastern. @Northern Aurora had a number of posts on their recent cruise and reported back very positive observations on the condition of the ship. -

I think you may misunderstand how the bidding process work. When you bid you are only bidding using the pricing for you cabin class and cabins you are working. It is not like an regular auction where the first bid has to be outbid in order to win. There are many factors involved and I don't believe any of us know the proprietary algorithm used by UpgradPlus. Some of the Factors involved may be: 1. Added revenue by accepting a bid that triggers a chain of upgrades across many room classess. Eg. A RS wins a PS then a CS upgraded to RS etc etc. 2. A bidder that bids the same as you but has a higher Captain's Club Status has an automatic multiplier added to their bid - MoveUp allows you to bid on a stateroom upgrade after you’ve purchased your cruise. As a valued Captain’s Club member your bid gets a bonus boost based on your tier. So, you get more value than what you bid. Classic members get an extra 1% multiplier, Select members get a 2% multiplier, Elite members get a 3% multiplier, Elite Plus members get a 4% multiplier, and Zenith members get a 5% multiplier. -
Probably haven't been released yet. Check back sometime around or after Thanksgiving when they are normally released.

Most smart and sports watches synchronize the time from that set on you phone. If not you will probably best Google on you Watch Name "Set Time" Many watches can also by synced to a computer but I don't use that method. One other thing I found for a Fitbit is that you have to have an internet connection on your phone or it doesn't update. Ugh. For that reason I usually update my time when flying prior to putting my phone in Airplane Mode. -

You can manually change the time manually - Select Date and Time Turn off Automatic Time Change Click the time zone Bottom underneath calendar click the time and you can manually change. I usually have to do it by Time Zones as for some strange reason on a FitBit it will not update time unless you use a time zone. For a Trans Atlantic Here's the Time Zones I use from San Francisco Rome +9 London +8 Ponta Delgada +7 Praia +6 Nuuk +5 Hamilton +4 New York +3 Sometimes the times Daylight Savings can mess it up -

LOL ---- my favorites are the ones with out the Meringue but I will definitely eat them with the topping. -
I checked into our Solstice December 11 cruise on Wednesday (45 days out). Absolutely no problems. Some on our Roll Call were having trouble earlier today with the screen - ChekIn has Checked Out. I checked again and able to access both by web or app.

I often use a Travel Router like TP-Link AC750. Since there are lack of power outlets I power it using a power cell. -
Second leg of B2B - Do I need to check-in?
Jim_Iain replied to Tom-n-Cheryl's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I've been on 5 consecutive cruises since ships first started sailing again and never been asked or even been suggested in writing to move anything off our counters. We would of course do whatever was requested. Many of our stateroom attendants will will even arrange things on our bedside tables even loose coins in a decorative way. We don't have a lot on counters but do have our Bathroom shaving kits, toothbrushes etc we leave in place and in our rooms mostly just all of my electronics, chargers and connectors. I'm wondering why Reflection have different protocols than Equinox, Silhouette, Millennium and Summit. -
I"v stayed on deck 11 and I think noise will be dependent on what is over the top of you cabin. Most cabins can be quiet while others close to bars, Spa Cafe and pool you might hear early morning carts moving with ice, glasses and dishes. Also sometime in the evening areas they move chairs for steam cleaning. Also - Sometimes in the afternoon or evening you may hear noise from the bands playing loudly at the pool, along with line dancing etc Also remember the Upper Suites are on Deck 11 also and all that I've been in are very quiet as there are rooms above. Anything aft of 1605 - 1610 should be quiet as there are cabins over

No. They do have the time on your phone and you can program your phone for a wakeup call
