Wow, you guys are in luck for sure. Enjoy your time in NYC and then the lovely CS to Bermuda. I second going to St George around noon to see the re-enactment of the dunking. Lots of fun. I bought two china mugs with scenes of Bermuda on them, so I enjoy Bermuda every morning! Bon Voyage.

I was of the opinion that they saved half the capacity of speciality restaurants for booking on board but that was long ago and maybe that has changed.

My Celebrity points are still showing on my Azamara reservations. So thankful for that.

So sorry for your problems, OttawaJohn. You'd think Ottawa would be a step ahead of the rest of us. They had to get the police here because of trouble in the line ups where some people were waiting 3 days. I hope you get your passport and please do let us know so we can cheer for you.

We were also on this cruise and really appreciated the way we were looked after when Chile refused entry to us. We were also on the next Eclipse cruise 2 years later, with Captain Leo. This cruise was not as polished as previous Celebrity cruises, but we put that down to new hires serving on their first cruise and staff shortage. We were made to feel like celebrities when our waiter in Blu recognised us from the previous cruise. Miaminice, I hope you got a light dose and will recover quickly so you have energy to post your pictures. TIA.

HC2023, welcome to cruise critic. You will learn a ton of things on here. I don't think you will feel out of place on Celebrity at all. I wish I could change ages with you and do it all again. Enjoy your cruise and book another while you are on board!

This is the same with Air Canada. We fly in about 4 weeks and we have no seats yet.

Thank you so much for getting back to us. Sorry your husband had discomfort on the plane but you made it to the cruise and it looks like you're both were able to enjoy it. Isn't it wonderful when you have a tough decision to make and you find out you made the right one.

Pixiedust, I am sorry for the trouble you are having getting your money back. I, too was waiting since Jan 21st for a refund of my deposit. I phoned one day and was lucky to get a person who cared and got the job done. Before she hung up, she sent me a new booking confirmation showing the FCC. Do you have any future cruises that they apply a FCC to instead of returning a credit to your CC? I hope this works out to your satisfaction.

We like Blu too. On a B3B, our first segment was in a suite, so we ate in Luminae. Then we moved back to our original cabin in AQ and ate in Blu. We felt we had come home! Much preferred Blu to Luminae. We hope Blu adds to the enjoyment of your cruise, OP.

We haven't gone to the elite breakfast since we qualified for the free Cappuccinos in Al Baccio and that's years ago. I am with others though, that I wish they would bring back the 5 - 7 HH in the lounge. It was nice meeting people.

Welcome to Cruise Critic, Andy. Sorry your first post has to involve a disappointment. I think the advice given by neverlaysup is good. I hope you resolve this to your satisfaction and that you enjoy your first cruise (with a balcony) so much, you book another one on board.

Jump on Southwest and fly over to Kauai for your extra time instead of spending 4 days in Honolulu. It's a beautiful island and Celebrity no longer goes there.

We got compensation for the missing day in Hilo on the "Barnacle" cruise, but I think that was different.

I found it fairly easy, just got it an hour ago.

The barnacles were cleaned off when the ship was in drydock in Portland week of May 22. Your cruise should be fine.

Yes, I did, because I booked the same cabin for the B2B and it was correct on my account. Whoop-di-do, it has been corrected! I took a screen shot when it was showing available just in case I needed proof. I wonder if Celebrity reads all these boards? Darn, I was hoping Celebrity would come forward with a big gift for us and the new guys booked in the same cabin.🤣🤣. Thanks for the suggestions, folks. This board is the greatest.
