  1. On the Celebration, my family loved Michael Isaac and Happy Cole, so much so that we actually went to both the PG and not PG shows.
  2. Thanks for putting in the time for an extremely entertaining review, Sid. I’ll be getting on the Celebration as you are leaving, and you (and Saint Greg) have given me many ideas about where I want to explore.
  3. Looking forward to following along as we have a cruise booked on the Celebration in December.
  4. I was able to link my sister’s and brother’s booking to mine. In the booking and order detail page, toward the bottom of the page, there will a section for cruise companions. Right under that there is a section that states missing someone? Invite them to be your cruise companion. You can enter any person’s email address and it will invite them to be your cruise companion. Missing Someone? Invite them to be your Cruise Companion! EMAIL ADDRESS
  5. I couldn’t find a listing for Delco’s Deli on the website, but the website notes that a deli counter is included in the Lido Marketplace. Lido Marketplace is included in the cruise price.
  6. Yikes! Glad I went ahead and ordered the bottled water for our December cruise last week.
  7. @Ranger28If you don’t get an assigned dining time, you will have Your Time Dining in the dining room. You use the Hub app to request a table much like putting your name on a wait list at a restaurant on land. Or you would be assigned the Late Dining.
  8. Thanks for the quick response, everyone.
  9. I have been trying to log on all day and keep getting an internal server error. I’ve cleared cookies and cache and it’s still happening. Anyone else having this issue?
  10. Note that the Orlando airport is 45-60 minutes from the port, so a noon flight could be pushing it if there are any delays getting the ship into port, or clearing customs to allow debarkation to begin.
  11. This is kind of a goofy question, but I haven’t been able to find the answer on here. For those of you who have sailed recently, if you order the case of water from Fun Shops prior to the cruise, do they go ahead and deliver that to your cabin or do you have to go pick it up? Thanks so much for your help.
  12. Per Carnival’s website, Vaccinated guests (with proof of vaccination) – are not required to take a pre cruise test except on cruises of 16 nights or longer or when required by a destination.
  13. You can go down and request an extra key card for the rooms. All of you will have to go.
  14. Years ago, my sister and brother in law were offered a cruise while on the ship at a cost of taxes and port fees for the second cruise. It was during hurricane season and there had apparently been a number of weather-related cancellations for the upcoming cruise. Unfortunately, they had to get back to work or they would have taken the offer.
  15. I’ve just discovered this show and have been binge watching it. I like that it shows cruise lines that I will never be able to afford as well as cruise lines that I can afford. I love the behind the scenes information as well.
  16. It may be that Carnival hasn’t updated their website yet, but in the FAQs regarding health protocols, it says Is a self-test acceptable? All guests, irrespective of vaccination status, may consider using self-administered telehealth COVID-19 tests, which have been approved by the CDC to satisfy the pre-cruise testing requirement. The test must be a COVID-19 viral test (NAAT or antigen test) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The self-test process must happen under live supervision on a video call with a telehealth representative who must confirm the person's identity, observe the specimen collection and testing procedures, confirm the test result, and issue a report that meets the requirements of acceptable proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The telehealth provider must issue a result document that includes all the necessary information which must be presented at the time of check-in. Guests may consider using one of the following self-administered telehealth viral antigen tests: So, the accepted tests appear to be defined as proctored tests.
  17. I did the La Casa En La Playa excursion in 2018 while on the Magic and had a great time. We took an air conditioned bus to the beach house, learning a bit of history about the area as we traveled. The food on the buffet was good and plentiful. I don’t drink alcohol, but I think they had an open bar with a variety of choices. The guys at the beach house were very helpful with the kayaks, snorkel equipment and wind boards. There were plenty of loungers and they had one or two hammocks set up as well. There was a changing area and bathrooms inside the beach house. I thought it was very much worth the money.
  18. I deleted the email, but I am pretty sure that the email I got from Carnival regarding the new protocols said that they were in effect September 6 through December 31. But the email also noted that conditions could change at any moment.
  19. As noted by @canes20, only 2 of the 4 would need the extra cards. When my sister and I travel with our Mom, we both get the extra key cards to her room. She is hard of hearing, and we didn’t want to disturb the whole floor pounding on her door. The person to whose room an extra key is being requested will need to go to Customer Services with the person requesting the key card.
  20. Others have posted on here that they have used On Point with no issues. John Heald said several weeks ago that it was an acceptable proctored test site.
