  1. We are now booked for July 13, 2024 Norway Intensive!
  2. We are considering the July 13 2024 17 Night Norway Intensive. Wish they were going to Geiranger as it is one of my favorite spots, but we are fortunate in that we have been there before. What do they do for the Azamazing Evening on this cruise?
  3. Maybe it is security. I just don't know. Thanks for the response.
  4. Does anyone have a list of wines and sparkling wines included in the all-inclusive package?
  5. Is there a set upper limit for cost of beverages that is included in the all-inclusive package for drinks?
  6. When I look at My Windstar I cannot manage the cruise we are on using the Chrome Browser, Macbook Air M1. All I get is this: In Brave browser I get the whole thing: Anyone else having this issue?
  7. Does Azamara offer any perks or extras for booking a cruise while you already have a cruise booked? Or does this only apply for booking while onboard?
  8. @Sthrngary it is very sad to see you go. You have been an inspiration to me and the reason I purchased the Plus package. Now I feel like I should cancel it. It is really sad that NCL is trying to cheap out on this. I think they and a lot of other companies do not think through their decisions. Penny-wise and pound foolish I guess.
  9. Agree with Clay. We also lived there for a month. Don’t miss the central market or Jamon!
  10. We were on the Viking World Cruise last year during Covid. They had a lot of supply problems but we never went thirsty! 😀 we are sailing Azamara for the first time in the spring. Viking is very generous and tries to have good selections. Maybe they have a wider selection than AZ. They are probably not really great wines but I enjoyed them. Often we would finish a bottle at the buffet for dinner and sometimes at lunch too! I look forward to comparing AZ to Viking and reporting my findings! yes, it is a bit unfortunate that they make Champagne $1 over the limit and no you cannot just pay the difference. 🥵
  11. Did I say something that is different from the blog? Sorry if I did! Wines are $6 maybe going up to $8 but are covered in the Silver Spirits Package.
  12. Viking's Silver Spirits package, only $25 per day per person (recently up from $20) includes all drinks under $15 (which may be going up to $18 according to some reports). Pretty much the only thing you cannot get on board is the Champagne although they have a pretty good Prosecco. The wines are okay, typically can find something I like. For warm weather, we really liked the Rosés.
  13. Whatever you are comfortable with I guess.
  14. Tipping is always so controversial but I am reminded of a trip to Africa many years ago. We went to a market and a young boy was selling a t-shirt with an elephant on it. I really liked it. He said it was $10. I thought that negotiation was normal so I offered $8. He said, $10, because $2 means a lot more to me than it does to you! I will never forget that. People should tip what they feel comfortable doing, but I would personally be embarrassed to leave just a $14 tip!
  15. How many and what international nights are there?
  16. I asked Tellus to consider allowing us to buy now at the lower price for gratuities and SS. I received a call from Viking saying that it would not be possible. The price increase is in effect period. She told me that the Viking reps were not aware of the price increase and my e-mail was the first she heard of it.
  17. We got no advanced notice. SS is now $25 per day and gratiuties are $18 per day. I think they should have been more forthcoming. SS is the best deal in the industry but the other cruise lines send you a letter in advance.
  18. We have been on many Viking cruises and love them. But we booked our first AZ cruise for May. We are excited to compare and contrast!
  19. You should be able to leave whenever you want to leave.
  20. Typically you will get flight credit. However during this current mess the system is down and you cannot cancel via their app (st least that has been my experience currently). It should get better by next week 🤞. Good luck!
  21. I would definitely check the fine print for trip insurance. Was this Tripmate through Viking or a separate insurance policy?
  22. If you sign up for the ultimate beverage package while on board, do you pay based on what day you sign up (e.g., if you sign up on Day 2 or a. 7 day cruise do you just pay for 6 days) or is it for the full cruise regardless of when you sign up?
  23. If you sign up on Day 2 or after, do you pay less or do you still pay for the full cruise days for the P+?
  24. We were on a world cruise for 152 days. T Mobile worked flawlessly in 28 countries!
