    Hi, will be brief, had a traumatic few days in hospital. So told today I have cancer in a few parts of my body, without being specific. That is in addition to my kidney issues. I start treatment tomorrow, I wont go into that. So I have a rough road ahead. Thanks for the support my friends.

    Thanks Linda and others, just arrived, 5 hr drive. I have to be at admissions @ 6am, Thursday, now that is early. 50 metres from Mecure to Hosp. Staying 2 nights here.

    Looks a good meal there Lyle me old mate, except for the broccoli, hate broccoli. As for $20 for the steak meal 'down here' you mean Australia? More like $35 to $50 for a giant T bone like the pic these days, beef is expensive.

    The Americans would be sueing Carnival Corp if they were treated like Wastegirl on Grand Princess. I agree we Aussies are often too easy going and often reluctant to complain.

    Wastegirl, I really feel sorry for you and Hubby. Sounds like a horror story for you on Grand Princess. Thank God you have a balcony cabin. I hope your meal issues are sorted, pretty sad effort by Princess. Chin up and soldier on.😁

    Thanks Linda, yes gale force here yesterday, some 100 kmh gusts. A bit calmer today. Lost power for most of arvo. I am not looking forward to hospital in Sydney next week, perhaps I should regard it as another road trip, lol. 🚙🏥

    Strange no bar soap on Majestic. On Coral in Sept had bar soap, those little round ones and the liquid soaps. Whilst on the subject of Majestic Princess, hitting some rough weather enroute to Tassie. Looks like they are in for a few rough days around the Apple Isle.     Hi Linda, sunny and about 22C, I am mediocre and not looking forward to my trip to Sydney on 29/11 for a couple of days under the scalpel. I don't like doctors or hospitals, I have to do a PCR test at Batehaven Pathology for Covid 72 hrs before I turn up at the hospital, like being on a cruise, but no Princess Medallion, lol. Thanks for asking.

    There are taxis at the terminal, Ubers abound in the city, I would go Uber.

    Try Holiday Inn, Kings Cross, on top of KX Railway Station. on Illawarra Line. If you join IHG Loyalty Club, you should get a room under AU$200, they also have a bistro on site, good prices.

    Anyone who cruises without Travel insurance is a fool. Over the years I have met a few Americans travelling with no travel insurance. I just shakes me head. I always took out a policy when I paid my deposit.
