The OP said he is leaving on Saturday and that he now is no longer able to modify his bid. Again, I have won several Haven Bids and every time the day i was awarded first all bids but one would expire and the remaining would say Pending and could not be altered. within 2 hours it went to processing and the the email sent for the upgrade. I understand 45 days out they all say pending but you also can still modify your bid. I would bet the OP will update saying he won the bid at about 11am

If its not letting you change the bid, i will bet you won, just hasnt changed to processing yet, but hay i could be wrong, but do not think so

Have won multiple Haven Bids, but I always have multiple cabin bids, so when 1 stays Pending and the rest have expired, I have always won that bid, usually get email and it goes ot processing within a few hours

what cabin did you bid on?

IT will go from pending, to processing pretty quick, and within an hour or so it will change in your NCL App

Looks like you got it, also check your other bids if you had any, if one says Pending, and the others are either canceled or cant really remember what it say, the pending one is the one you got.

Looking forward to your Joy Review. We are sailing on the Joy on April 8th, 1st time on the Joy, sailed the breakaway several times. We are also in the Haven again, this time the aft facing penthouse, looking forward to that amazing balcony.

Most of the time upgrades aren’t issued untill about 4 to 5 days out. Havens get issued first and then down from there. I have won 2 haven bids and 1 was 6 days out and the other was 4

Typically no breakfast, they usually have the lunch and food ready about 2 hours after arrival, depending on the time you get there

So I booked the Joy for April 8th 2023 last week. We booked a haven aft facing suite, so typically we get double points for being in a haven so would that mean we would get triple what we should have gotten ? So we would already be getting 14 but now would it be 21,28, or 35?

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. We were on RCCL in October and still people wearing masks, your choice and nobody should bother you as it’s not like your making them wear one

We have sailed several time on breakaway and more times out of New Orleans! Sailing down Mississippi River is very scenic! Only downside is be ready to be charged taxes on all drinks untill you exit the mouth of the Mississippi into the Gulf of Mexico, about 6 to 8 hours

Royal does eat the charges but there drink packages are crazy expensive, think mine on the symphony was somwhere around $1200 for 2 for 7 night cruise

My guess is it is now used just like free play in a casino. Once you spin through the $100 you can cash out whatever is remaining.

So we are staying at the La Quinta hotel by the airport, rate was for a 2 queen bedroom night before cruise and includes parking for our 7 night cruise and transportation for 2 to the cruise terminal. rate was $155. I know its not the best hotel but at $22 per day for parking i am going to take my chances. Anyone else ever stay there pre cruise?

Never been on Bliss or the Joy but we are sailign on the Joy in April. Been on the breakaway class ships, not the BA+.

So, Paradise beach is much more low key, depending on what your expectations . Honestly with a 17 year old i would choose Paradise beach due to the party crowd that will be there. We are going there mid april which will have more high school spring breakers then college, and we are going to Paradise beach. Any questions about it let me know.

We actually just changed our sailing to the Joy for April 15th. But I did go with the aft facing haven suit mainly for the balcony and second bathroom. Walking isn’t an issue considering the amount of food and drink we will be consuming lol!

When I use the butler for more then the minimum tasks I usually tip $200 for a 7 day cruise. I always Tip $100 in the beginning and if i use hom more during the cruise i tip an additional $100

Booked through website before all the craziness, transportation to and from LFK was provided

I have done the swimming with the pigs, it was fun! $20 per person, they took lots and lots of pictures
