  1. I did go to the USHP Standards web pages. Nowhere could I find anything approaching the list of requirements which is why I asked for links. Telling me that I have to search hundreds of thousands web pages to find the material suggests to me that the requirements listed were derived from an individual's interpretation of the material. Is that the case?
  2. Would you provide links to these items in the USPH documentation. You do realize that cruise ships are vastly different environments that any land based restaurant?
  3. Is the behavior still only in Edge? (i.e. Have you tried Chrome recently)
  4. Our reasonably free market economy accepts one as desirable and the other as not. It's a cultural distinction. Did you consider that the buses may have had to come and return some distance? Given the number of taxis it seems unlikely that 3 busses would have been available locally.
  5. Apparently the 3 large bus loads on the Oceania excursion do not agree. You went through an extraordinary amount of work to setup your excursion. If you were working the same period of time would your compensation not be at least $190?
  6. Was this 2024? If not, the direct flights to Tampa, Orlando, Miami, and Ft Lauderdale start in November / December.
  7. Return flights from FLL and MIA to YYZ depart at ~08:40. I guess Porter is not interested in attracting cruise passengers.
  8. Really? Who checks out the operator? How much work does one have to do to find available excursions and evaluate them? My point is that there is a value add on the part of cruise lines. It's sad that some place such a low value on their own work.
  9. The suggestions that cruise line excursions are overpriced ignore the fact that cruise lines handle advertising, bookings, payments, and refunds; perform provider qualification; coordinate with providers; and assume the risk of having to hold the ship when things go wrong. Oh, and need to make a profit.
  10. From https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5496604/#:~:text=The majority of malaria cases,(19%) [1]. "The majority of malaria cases in South America occur in the Amazon region. In 2015, the four countries reviewed here accounted for 83% of malaria cases in the Americas: Brazil (24%), Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (30%), Colombia (10%), and Peru (19%) [1]." Good advice to seek professional qualified medical advice. There are several strains of malaria. Some are resistant to medication, Cloroquine in particular.
  11. The Show Filters link is just a contraction of the display fragment you posted. It only appears on devices that the CC software considers to narrow for the full display.
  12. Very different display, my PC is similar. In reading the filter text "I am following and posted in for the last 182 days." suggests that the user must have a post within the Time Period. Had you not posted in the missing threads for some time?
  13. Walking is good. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  14. Interesting about the time period. It's been some time since I looked at this. My recollection is that there were two time periods, when the thread was created and when the last entry was made. Either my memory is faulty or things have changed - even odds on which. 🙂 Could it be that Time Period is refering to thread creation date?
  15. You might double check the stream definition, Show Filters (above the list). If you follow the threads, new postings will also appear in your notification list. Not ideal, but at least you won't miss posts if you check notifications.
  16. Search differs slightly depending on device & orientation. This screenshot is from a tablet with a relatively narrow display.
  17. Not sure what you mean by "my Activity stream". Do you have a custom stream for following particular threads?
  18. The sailing is Vancouver to Honolulu, what has changed? There are literally hundreds of threads started by people complaining about itinerary changes. The advice is always the same, see para 2 post #16. You will see Hawaii as noted in the revised itinerary. Just from a distance. If you really want to see more of Hawaii, change your return flight and spend a few days.
  19. Port changes are nothing new. It's unfortunate that you are not interested in the alternate ports. But the choices are rather limited and Hawaii is busy with more important things for the foreseeable future.
