  1. I would put it in my luggage and declare it as you might need it when in Europe. For example my wife's nebulizer operates only on 110V. What devices do you have that only operate on 110V? For me only my beard trimmer. Will use a battery operated toothbrush and my waterpick uses a USB. Phones and other electronic devices as said you only need a plug adaptor. The unit you have is definitely not allowed to be used on board. No reason either as there are already 110V outlets.
  2. My first name is W. As on my passport. Celebrity uses W J. When I fly I run the two together- WJoss as TSA will not accept a first name with only one letter!
  3. Checking off numbers 33, 41 and if we find another willing couple - 78 and 79 as well from our bucket list. Lol
  4. That is definitely NOT a good way to book. They are fine unless something goes sideline and then not always available quickly via phone. A "great" TA will offer the extra OBC as well as the availability is many cabin classes for perks to be included. I got Princess Plus included and $600 of refundable OBC for the same price as the website. My TA is available 6am to 8pm 7 days a week. AH calls are returned by 7am the following day. Call around and interview a few. Ask some questions. Have them compete for your Cruise using a Google search. PS I paid with my big box credit card.
  5. Agree. AMTRAK also a possible strike. You would be responsible for attempting to arrange alternative transport.
  6. We all know that many do not go to the website as asking here is easier. And way easier than searching Cruise Critic to see if the question has been asked before.
  7. You cannot use a FCC. It is thru a 3rd party vendor and requires a CCard payment.
  8. Actually you would not be allowed to fly home until the US Consulate issued you travel documents. That could take hours or a couple days. No idea which countries require passports in the Caribbean today. That could be an issue if either wanting to visit that port or hospitalized. Read the CBP disclaimer that Jim posted.
  9. No. You will need your passport and Canada requires 6 months remaining. Could you get through? A definite very likely.
  10. Easy. To keep it simple my granddaughter who has all sorts of food restrictions printed it out and hands it to managers at restaurants. That way there is absolutely no misunderstanding. She had no problems on any ship. Any FWIW I tried the gluten free muffins - guess you could get used to them. The pizza on the other hand was OK.
  11. My best hack was to not authorize on board purchases except on my Seapass.
  12. The registry would include almost every hotel and motel. While bedbugs are fairly rare if there is an infestation and they get on the outside of your luggage, then they have easy access to a bed when unpacking OR another suitcase if travelling by air or ship or??? FWIW, I travel for a combo if business and pleasure an average of 60 nights a year. Have done so for over 50 years. Encountered bedbugs only twice. Once many years ago at a Radisson. The other time 2 years ago at a Comfort Inn near SeaTac. Simple rule is to fold down the Bedding from both sides (if 2 people there) at least halfway and look for dark specks. Only takes a second. Also do not put your suitcase on the bed. Use the rack, a table or a desk.
  13. Agree it is a crappy app, but uploading covid info a good idea as protocols change. Colombia started requiring proof of vaccination for example.
  14. My DW gets her Eggs Benedict, juice, fruit and coffee with 2 creams on request. Always great service when she is on a cruise. I'm a lot slower at delivery at home. Always out of fruit and hollandaise takes a while to make.
  15. If you have a drink package other than being convenient why would one consider buying a bottle of wine? I will stop by a bar on my way to dinner and pick up aglassfrom my favorite bartender.
  16. I called using Whats App and other WiFi apps from Australia. Was able to connect with the chat feature. It almost always was of little or no help.
  17. You actually can have 2 doubles. Then immediately walk to the next bar after chugging those and order 2 more doubles. Then repeat. Think you would be on the floor before the computer system shut you down. Remember- 1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila floor.
  18. Absolutely. Cafe al Baccio. Excellent with Tea Forte! Yummy
  19. Really! The NZ Celebrity number connects to Azamara. Called using a UK number and was told the policy as of the time of my call applied to US only. After some more discussion got a "supervisor " who thought policy would be expanded. PS - was not connected to Azamara. Lol. August - the Cruise Care insurance is available to US residents except NY.
  20. To use pre-purchased chip credit have someone lift you up to sit on the cashier's desk in the casino - assuming as a 6yr old you are short - and ask them to have someone show you how to do it. Important that you need to gamble the $220, but can cash out winnings. Make sure they explain how to log out of a slot and not lose any money.
  21. I was not aware my phone could be used to open my door. Carry my phone about on board? No. Love the app for seeing menus. Read the daily and fold it up for activity schedule. DW writes her plan on a post-it note and attaches it to her Seapass.
  22. Absolutely not. The extra charge is not for the dinner. You can still get a second appetizer, steak and dessert included. The charge is for the THIRD entree. Really!! Nobody should need three entrees.
  23. Doesn't appear that the port sustained significant damage. Lots of homes older destroyed. Homes like the newer frame and stucco home in the picture above have little damage. The town businesses fared much better as stronger construction.
  24. Check you complete booking to find out what changed. Insurance or something else.
  25. Your wifi minutes start when you login in and stop when you log out. If you login - 90 minutes later your minutes will be gone. Only completely logging out stops the clock
