  1. There are private companies that can get your passport renewed in 72 hours. What the fees are I don’t know but, businesses I was employed with used them (it was not a matter of life or death someone previously posted) Hope you jump on that Monday OP so you can go on your cruise (sounds really fun way to see the eclipse😊). Cheers
  2. Agree, I was trying to think of a situation that you wanted to use 2 devices at the exact same time (one for the left hand and one for the right) and just can’t think of any scenario needing that. As a solo you can connect 10+ devices in one plan, but just use one at a time. Cheers
  3. Then it has to be true😁🤣
  4. And I’m glad you pointed out they are/use a consolidator. Many have no clue about the pros and cons about consolidators. Cheers
  5. Wa..wa..Waite a minute…WHAT😯?? Lobster Benedict🫨😲 I never heard of this before but just the name alone sounds soooooo good. I got to try this next month (just what I need, a new food addiction 🤣) Cheers
  6. Looking at the Lavazza site, the machine in above pics looks like this model and it would be a specific size capsule that would only fit this espresso machine (not k-cup or Nespresso size):
  7. We have had a similar experience sailing multiple times in every line you listed (except Disney). I could mention both pros and cons for every cruise but, pros have always outweighed the cons on every line. Our experience on Oceania, ships Riviera and Insignia, were really outstanding in many ways. There are (or were) truly port intensive itineraries and that was the number one reason we sailed with them (especially Insignia which is R class that visited ports around the Med a larger ship could never go). But, we all have different taste and budgets for cruising the way we want. Unfortunately for us, Oceanic has really increased their prices but I guess as long as they can fill their ships then they are priced correctly (just not for us anymore ☹️). Cheers
  8. lol, yes I will be the first one that owns up to that🤣
  9. Thank you, she is back to normal now but boy, it was a long 6 months to get that gal out of pain 🙂 We are hoping to get back on the horse and take a cruise in a couple months (sadly not down under though). Cheers
  10. Just to share an experience almost exactly a year ago.. 3 days before we were to fly to Australia for our cruise in a Vista suite, my wife hurt her back and was literally crippled and in so much pain. A day later (2 days before the cruise) I had to cancel our cruise. I guarantee you, someone who made a bid on a suite was very happy to win the bid and get upgraded probably at embarkation. So, you never really know when or why a cabin opens up on a sold out cruise. Cheers
  11. I suggest you read this thread and other threads posted in it:
  12. As all the others, I empathize with what a horrible experience you had. There have been many posts since Covid about similar experiences, that Princess (as well of other cruise lines) want to get you off the ship ASAP because their liability (and morality) is over at point. Personally, what I have taken away of these horror stories is my wife and I are completely responsible for ourselves once we walk (or rolled) off the ship. That means if my wife gets really sick similar to you, I am going to everything I can do myself (without asking others) and book someone to pick us up immediately, regardless the cost or what was planned under normal conditions (I’m not telling OP waiting for their shuttle for 3 hours was wrong, Im saying what I personally will do). And once we get picked up we are immediately going to a hospital for further care or a hotel room to rest and get better) Again, for me I will never-ever think about how much money we can loose, My only priority is get to a safe location stat and know we can deal with out of pocket cost and insurance at a later time. Cheers
  13. 🤣 I don’t even know what you wrote but thanks for the laugh😊 Cheers
  14. I’m with all of you that say SF is cool, misty, and cloudy most all of the summer. Only a freak day would you ever hit 90+. Now, inland is a different story😊
  15. This by far is the most logical and believable explanation on this thread so far. Those of you that demand full explanation and transparency from Princess is simply not going to get it no matter what threats you state. I wish we would get the truth but, we should be aware of all the lies and deception we hear every day which has taken over the business strategy for the 21st century (very sad in my heart but see it every day). PS: Lying by omission is still a lie! Cheers
  16. Isn’t that the truth 😊
  17. Hi, Are you sure there isn’t a daily meeting on your cruise? I just saw the “platter” (still a very strange name to me) someone just posted who is on the Crown and it’s listed at 4:00 in the wedding chapel. It is listed as Friends of Dr. Bob followed by Bill W. (lol, never seen it listed like that before). I was just thinking back and I don’t ever remember in the past 20+ years of cruising on the majority of cruise lines there wasn’t a Friends of Bill meeting every afternoon. We meet many life long friends at these meetings that we still keep in contact with today. I think you did a good job explaining that it’s not that we are tempted to drink (or drug) on the cruise, but simply want to meet similar people that we share a spiritual connection😊. But, once in a while there will be a newcomer that comes and yes, they are being tempted. Cheers
  18. Are you trying to ask a question about OBC or are you just sharing you used all your OBC? Cheers
  19. Is there a specific reason you are trying to purchase Plus before your cruise? It’s reported all over this site what a nightmare calling Princess is. There is no financial discount to purchase Plus before the cruise so why not just avoid this “annoying” calling Princess and just book it when boarding? Cheers
  20. Glad you got one good day of weather in😊. Tomorrow is a different story and hope you brought your umbrella. Look forward to checking in on your cruise. Ours isn’t until April. Cheers
  21. Sorry you lost your good TA. I think most of us had a good TA that ended up out of the business for a million reason. And then the search goes on for a replacement😊. My post was just inform you a CVP is employed by Princess only. I hope you’re current TA works out but please be careful booking with a cruise line directly (either online or by one of their reps). Cheers
  22. I strongly suggest you get a good TA. A CVP only works for Princess and couldn’t help with HAL or any other cruise line. A good TA works with all cruise lines and likely could of handled all the issues you had without you wasting any time on the phone trying to reach some customer service foreign rep that knows very little. Cheers
