  2. Wow! That would not be good at all in the South Pacific, or any other hot humid place. Sounds so strange the whole ship has no AC. Not an expert in HVAC (mostly on a cruise ship) but, I would think the ship would have mutable AC compressors running all the ship AC? Keep us informed and really sorry for everyone. Cheers
  3. No worries at all, just pick up a new one when checking in (they will be more than happy to give you a replacement. One cruise I forgot to pack them but easy-peasy to get another one at embarkation. This was before green/blue lanes. So unfortunately you will have to go through blue lane to get another one (just assuming). Regardless, do not stress one more minute about it😊 Cheers

  5. To answer your last question, yes you both can log on. Both of you will have an account and entering the same cabin number but both will enter their own birthdate. Makes me question what if you both have the exact same birthday (have no idea what the odds are but obviously extremely high🤣) For an example, both my wife and I have plus. We both have iPhones so I will enter our cabin and my birth date on my phone. She has her own iPhone so she will enter our same cabin number but with her birth date. We both have our own internet connection. When we get into are cabin at night we both have our own iPads and we will do the same as above and internet will be switched from our phones to iPad. Its really simple and after the first time you will be a pro😊
  6. You know, you can try to explain this to people but, unless they actually experienced or seen it themselves they likely won’t listen. We ourselves came within minutes of catching a Baltic cruise because of a series of the most bizarre airline issues that even though we got onboard when they started pulling the ropes up, we were in such a sh…y mood, exhausted, and baggage MIA for 4 days (fun living in the clothes you wore on the airplane for 4 more days😡) We will never make the same mistake. The cost of one night hotel is peanuts compared with the cost of flights the full cruise. No brainer for us to arrive a day early and have peace of mind boarding the ship😊 Cheers

  8. Oh, I hear you about Diet Pepsi, it’s all I drink and taste so much better than Diet Coke. Of course 90% of the world doesn’t agree with us (lol🤣). This ridiculous search must be either a Texas thing or the want-to-be ATF agent is taking his/her job waaaaaay to serious 🤣🤣

  10. The truth is the morning of disembarkation doesn’t have any sort of vib of relaxation. Just the complete opposite. The staff is running around trying to get things ready for the next group and has no time to take care of the passengers that need to get off the ship. Yes, you can grab a bite for breakfast but it’s rushed and luggage scattered all over the place and long lines to exit the ship. Forget about trying to get a elevator going down also, they are all packed full like a can of sardines. Its the worst part of a cruise😩
  11. I just checked for my upcoming cruise on the Crown and a 75 min Swedish massage was $219. Not sure what "extras" you get for that $349 50 min massage 🙂 Cheers
  12. Exactly! Not one inaugural of any cruise line went without some type of hitch. I am very sensitive to the passengers that are effected by this (and the next few cruises) but, for season cruisers they know the first set of cruises on any new ship will not be an optimum experience (for several reasons). Hoping bumped customers get a chance to cruise this ship once all the bugs are worked out. Cheers

  15. Don’t think about it, just do it! 😊. Wife and I really enjoy getting their massages (except for the prices…lol) and highly recommend them. Yes, you can get fully naked (is there really any other way to get a great message??) and they have been very professional and respectful. I actually don’t ever remember being asked in Princess Spa to buy any products there. They did a couple times offer showing me some stretching exercise I do myself for a sore shoulder issue (nothing regarding $). Normally at any spa I go to if I’m asked if I would be interested in purchase some products I’ll just kindly say no thanks with a smile and that always ends any further discussion. Never heard of any kind of hard sale in Princess spa but, I‘M just sharing my own experience. Try it out, you’ll love it☺️, might even see me there a few times (always a embarkation day top list to start the vacation! Cheers
  16. Seriously would never expect EZair to automatically rebook you. You should contact them asap and see if they can help. Also, try to work with United. They will try to do everything to book you on their metal but, if you knew specific flights from another major airline schedule that would work they can book you on that. They won’t unless you tell them the specific flights and explain the situation. Good luck! PS: There is a boat load (sorry😊) of flight’s getting cancelled right now for either grounding the 900 or weather. Try to act quickly unless you want some extra nights on the insurance tab.

  20. One just doesn’t manage the company, they own it and has nothing to do with Carnival or Princess. This BS sales company is acting like they are Princess and taking advantage of people that think they are Princess. I read your thread the other day and as I wrote, I really hope you can help your parents. At lease some people hear on CC is now reading about this scam

  23. Usually a very long line airside when flights get cancelled. If you want the airline you booked with to book the alternate flight (especially with their partners) I would just call their customer service number you found on Google or airline web page. If you just want to book with Southwest (who doesn’t partner with other airlines) just book the ticket on your smart phone or call them. Turn that cost into your insurance company. Cheers
  24. I would suggest having a plan B, C, and D of alternate flights to get you where you want to go tomorrow (look online). Its handy if you show up at the airport and flight gets cancelled (for whatever reason) and have to call a agent to find you alternate flights (don’t stand in a long line at customer service, just call the airline). Try to think outside the box with connections. It’s just something I do every time we fly anywhere. I had to do a ton of business travel and it’s just something that I learned to do as something always seemed to screw up my best laid plans😊. Your insurance will cover any extra cost to get you to your cruise. Cheers and have a great cruise!
