I always felt this way but, thinking back when I had Covid (at home, not on a cruise) I actually don’t think I went outside on our patio once while feeling like crap. Just seems I spent 99% of the time in bed sleeping or watching TV. I still like the idea of having a balcony if I had it on a ship though. BTW, happy to hear you are feeling much better Art😊👍 I think most everyone that wears a mask feels that dropping them in the MDR won’t translate into getting infected but, I have a feeling most of the spread of Covid happens there. But, how in the world do you eat without dropping your mask? 🤷‍♂️ I would say masks reduce the spreading but, don’t agree that they prevent it. Cheers

Sorry you got Covid and appreciate your report. Have many people at work out with Covid and they didn’t do any cruises (that I know of). Just typical now of Holiday seasons and agree, its not going away. Cheers

@sunviking90, E510 is a BW Balcony cabin, not mini-suite according to Princess web site. I just googled the cabin and the only photo I could find is from E510 on Royal (same floor print). Photo of balcony did not look good to me (lifeboat right in line of site). I would post pic but is copywrite so someone else can just google it. Cheers

I think this is why my TA asks me to e-mail her my GC's right after I purchased them (would get two $500 GC's per month). This way she wouldn't get overwhelmed doing a whole stack at one time at final payment 🙂 Cheers

Informative thread (well, as far as staying inside CC web site rules). We all started out as rookies to cruising and just as other things in life, it takes some time and experience to figure things out.😊. As several posts mention, there are several reasons to go with a CVP over a 3rd party TA or booking on Princess web site. In other ways, once you talk to seasoned cruisers on the first couple cruises you learn how much $ can be saved on cruises going with a TA. I think it’s all in your comfort level which way you go but, for me personally I wanted an agent that was not employed by the cruise company itself so there was no conflict of interest. I wanted a TA that is my advocate, not the cruise line (and save some $ at the same time). But, I no longer need any initial hand holding, just do as I request and be there if something goes sideways. Cheers

Could be just the angle of the pic but, besides a few games looks like them shelves are a little bare. Love reading but also one that has gone to electronic reading. Started on a Kindle (loved it) but have migrated to an iPad for the reasons I like to look up places mentioned in a book that I don’t know about on the web (as well as email and sport updates😊) Cheers

I once used a gift card that had a larger balance than the final payment of the cruise. The TA had to apply the remaining balance from gift card to OBC to make it stick. Good luck!

Forgot to list cell phone 🙂 All docs and phone numbers are accessible by cell phone as well any required surf for booking on the web. How did we ever survive without a smart phone (lol).
