The “Annex” as you describe, is absolutely necessary on the E-class ships, I’m glad they are finally using some of these spaces for guest experiences and FUN! My brother might actually go another cruise with a golf simulator.

I've done it, nothing special lasted about an hour. Boated around the port area and got a history lesson and they try hard to get you wet.

This. Take a quick ferry ride over and back. Ferry is easy walk from RC port. Big beach area, great food and drinks a Dinghy's Beach Bar. check out their web cam to get an idea of the beach area. I've been there three different times myself.

I'm in a SS Veranda on Beyond coming up and have $800 OBC all from Celebrity. I booked this back in June 2022.

I am going on the Ultimate Southern Caribbean cruise in 2024 and there are currently 3 different ships doing a similar itinerary, there should be multiple options available whenever they open up. The only 2026 Caribbean cruises open are for the newest E-class Xcel...

I have the wash and press and am interested how it works too. I have found out that they use the heat from the sun to heat the water and also for the dryer, so be careful with delicates and newish cotton.

It really seems to depend on the cruise and time of booking for whatever reason. I have a summer Caribbean cruise booked and a SS veranda was cheaper for one than the solo cabins where. But currently SS solo is more than a solo cabin. 🤔

I've signed up on all my cruises and the room attendant knew nothing of me signing up, so no difference in service and some extra points!!

I did a Med cruise in late June and it was hot. One day in Ajaccio was the hottest most humid day I’ve ever experienced, was told it was because of the wind coming off the Sahara Desert. I did have a blast and there were zero kids (Virgin Voyages).

Do you recall where the stops were? Hell’s Gate? Pillars of Hercules?

Everything is pretty accurate in the post other than the poster stating 2+ hours to eat. I’ve eaten dinner there four times and never came close to a 2+ hours sitting there eating.

Seasickness is subjective, I simply don’t get seasick doesn’t matter the size of boat, place or time. Some folks may not get seasick on a cruise ship, but may get seasick on a 52ft catamaran, some folks may not get seasick on a 52ft catamaran, but may get seasick on a 18ft runabout. Pretty hard question to answer, unless your like myself who simply doesn’t get seasick… I have this excursion booked for my march 24 cruise. I’m also looking at a DIY Xtreme circumvent or Eco tour with an adventure Antigua dot com company.

Was in a sunset veranda deck 9 in January 2023. No issues with odors or noise.

I am not a fan of Blue Lagoon mostly because of the caging of marine animals so they can collect revenue on said caged marine life. Will never do any excursion anywhere that does this. There was a fatal shark attack at Blue Lagoon in the last 12 months as well. This was caused by people throwing food into water for whatever reason and a lady who was snorkeling in the area got caught up in the feeding frenzy created by the food and bleed out from the shark biting her.

Looks like they jacked up the price for Eden now $85 and Le Voyage now $125 before any discounts. 🤬

Ascent is currently crossing the Atlantic empty as well.

The 12:30 is very doable. I flew out at 1:30 this summer and was a bit worried, I spent over 2 hours bored at the airport...

I have a wash and press ordered for my upcoming 10 day cruise. Seeing some of the comments about the heat in wash and dry I'm getting a little worried. I purchased it during one of the "flash sales" and was pretty reasonably priced... I would probably just have them wash and press some cotton shorts and some button down shirts, maybe some socks and undies. Hopefully they don't come back with diet instructions on how to lose weight to fit in my newly sized clean cloths 😂

$100 pp. Back in June 2022 I booked a cruise and my invoice shows a $932 total veterans discount, but also has premium bev/internet and $800 OBC which none of the above exist anymore.
