Virgin Voyages is adults only. My last two Celebrity cruises had a few kids/teens but nothing overwhelming, then I went on a Virgin cruise, it was a completely different cruise without kids, definitely for the better.

I was one of the "lucky" ones on Beyond in January. It was pretty bad, it really made me reconsider my future booking wit Celebrity. Glad to hear things have gotten back to somewhat normal.

The price I paid through Virgin was $30 USD. Not sure Google translate would have been very helpful in this situation, the conversation/disagreement back and forth lasted 15 minutes with a fluent Spanish speaking person. Not sure why I would expect people in Spain to speak English. On a side note, while in Ibiza, was talking with a local business person who needs employees, he will only hire Spanish and English speaking people. I asked what about French, he laughed at me.

I got off at 9:50am, could have stayed longer... I had the Virgin bus transfer to the airport at 10am. I would not do the bus through Virgin again, it was a real sh*t show. The driver didn't speak English and wanted to drop folks at terminal 1 without their luggage, then drop off the remaining folks at terminal 2, he was then going to return to terminal 1 with the left over luggage. Thankfully there was someone to translate this horrible idea, and was able to talk the driver into a more sane idea... Bottom line, just get a taxi.

When I'm 64 and getting hit on, I will be absolutely flattered. I'm in my 40's and smile with joy when getting ID'd for alcohol.

Weed comes in vape form as well, and also is hardly noticeable, like nicotine vapes.

Agreed, non vapers/smokers are oblivious to people vaping. Obviously smoking is extremely smelly and obvious, however not necessarily the case with vaping. People do it EVERYWHERE. I just got off a Virgin cruise in the Mediterranean and people in the casino, pool, theater, club weren’t even trying to hide it and the staff said nothing. I understand Virgin doesn’t have a stick up they’re a** like some folks and cruise lines, but nobody cared or said anything. It was a very different/great cruise experience.

Definitely try The Pizza Place. Just got back from a Mediterranean cruise on Valiant and the restaurants were average at best. The Pizza Place was the highlight, even though I don’t go on cruises for pizza 😆

People are already vaping in the casino and pretty much everywhere else on the ship, as well as on the airplane ride to the cruise, you just are not noticing it or smelling it.

People vape everywhere their not supposed to, including airplanes.

It is all subjective... Virgin Voyages is on this list. I just got off Valiant Lady in the Med. and the food was average at best. I ate in 3 "special" restaurants (no charge) Pink Agave, The Wake, and Test Kitchen. My steak in Pink Agave was probably the worst piece of meat in a long, long time, the rest of the meal was good, but that steak was horrible. The Test Kitchen was the best of the 3, but hardly filled me up, The Wake was also average at best, again the steak was tough and over cooked and the sides were nothing to write home about. All in all I didn't starve, but was very disappointed in the food. The best eatery IMO was the Pizza Place, excellent pizza, I had 4 pizzas on my 7 day cruise... I don't go on cruises to eat pizza.

No clue, but I just got off a Virgin cruise and they can turn the king bed into a upside down L-shape for "separate" beds or a single and a "couch" It's a bad set up because someone has feet in their face if its separated for sleeping.

USD, however I did see people using Euro's and the casino does the exchange for them, what the exchange is I don't know.

I was in 11272 on Apex, zero noise issues. What I like is walking down the hall to the room, you'd literally run into your door if you kept walking. I know it's strange, but some late nights it can be a relief 🙂

It's a Mediterranean cruise, so not Miami. I've come to the point in life where I don't do things I don't enjoy. Men dressing up as women is one of them, I'll simply avoid that...

The bad Celebrity news continues... having a bit of buyers remorse after booking two future Celebrity cruises, it may get worse after my Virgin Voyages cruise in two weeks. 😨

Sounds like your issue is with Celebrity itself and not the actual ship Beyond.

It’s a “free” cruise, no bonus or bar tab.

It’s back for June and July sailings and is only 80,000 points.
