Here is the sheet w/new pricing and supplements removed; it doesn't mention a $5 supplement for extra app PG lunch. So, maybe it's coming, but not yet released? Or it's really old and the TV menu has not been updated?

@mcrcruiser Well that did take long - Ballroom Dancing was offered Dec 8 5:00 pm at BBs. I didn't search other dates after I found this one, but happy to if anyone wants to know. Good memory, @cruisemom42

I definitely saw people dancing and think I may have included a picture in one of my Lives. I will review the Dailies and see if there was something posted.

Welcome back to cruising and to HAL! Alaska is an awesome cruise. HIA includes specialty coffee, fresh squeezed juices and water, so you should consider more than alcohol when you do your math to see if it makes sense for you. Another thing to consider, w/HIA there is no 18% charge on top of the prices unless you drink is above the $11 limit. Congrats and enjoy your cruise!

3 good days today; although, anyone w/cats knows how challenging herding them can be Regifting is a good thing, financially and environmentally speaking, when done from a good place w/no ill intent. Good quote; pass on the meal, would try the drink & wine; not been to the port; good days in history. Currently rainy 54° headed to 57° and 68° for my Thursday departure. I really need to check weather for the cruise so I can pack; have said it repeatedly, but manage to never do it.🤔 In honor of Mr Dias & the day in history, since I've not been to today's port, I offer a picture I took of the Cape of Good Hope during a helicopter tour Dec 2016 plus a local who I am certain was preparing to rip my face off. Luckily, the big boy was distracted at the last moment and took a detour - holy I need to change my undies now!! 🫣 Sorry for the weird picture - I had to screenshot my Screensaver to get it.

I typically see small refunds in strange amounts that are labeled as "...port...adjustments" - $5.36 and a nice, beefy $29.66 for my most recent 2 cruises out of Rome.

Sadly, that is correct re LCS. They are working on another version that will return Classical music to their ships in the theater. Not the same, but it will have a presence. I don't know an ETA.

Cruising both Carnival and HAL, I look forward to your thoughts and comparison - they are very different. 🤔 Those differences are what make keeping them both on my list enjoyable. One note, if I may, on MDR dining - you may want to plan on doubling your time as I don't see you getting in/out of dinner in an hour.🫣 Oh one more thing - they have a nice selection of teas 24/7 at the Lido at no charge. Enjoy!

Hey @LAFFNVEGAS we were on the 2 cruises right before you (Oct 26 - Nov 9 & Nov 29 - Dec 10) and did not notice the $5 surcharge at PG lunch; not saying it wasn't there, just if it was, we didn't notice. Pretty sure I didn't snap a pic of the menu - looked and only saw food, no menu, for both cruises. We did notice the lack of CO special entrees and commented about it several times. It was disappointing as they were very good when we had them.

Tudor in the PG is fabulous - he is a great representation of the service we have come to love (and expect) from HAL.

Just off NS a couple days ago. Our last PG lunch was 12:45 - the latest according to the person taking our reservation. We were scheduled for noon, but changed it when we learned the Cake Me Away event in the Lido started at 1130.

FLL flights need to be scheduled to leave by midnight, except SW which has a 6pm deadline. Full LD packet

When we did it, we contacted Carnival first with the dates of the cruise and the ship. They had someone contact us to go over the process and tell us the requirements. They also sent us an email outlining the process and requirements (basically a checklist of what was covered in the call) as well as the ship contact person. Once onboard, we contacted that person and they took it from there. Very tastefully done.

Cosmopolitan, Caesar salad hold the anchovies, fried chicken, chocolate caramel tart and cappuccino. 😊
