At the risk of sounding repetitive, thanks for entertaining us at home this week. Safe travels home to all, for a well deserved rest from working so hard on vacation.

I think that may be the key with android phones. I thought I recall someone mentioning that you had to have Wi-Fi calling enabled, and turned on, to get texts. I have no problems with our Apple products.

Yes, the device that is currently connected can send and receive texts from home. It can also do Wi-Fi calling if you set it up before leaving home. The other phone can access the app at anytime, by being logged into the ship Wi-Fi. when the second phone connects to Voom, it will automatically knock the other one off.

It looks like there were a couple with VIP towel clips, so that is probably ok in their minds. I can report that I had the hot tub all to myself, with a drink in my hand this morning. Oh wait, I am not on a cruise. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t crowded.

I thought the same thing about any of the books where Andrew was involved. I think Lee is passing the Reacher series to him, and soon he will be the author of the new books. Each author has their own style, and once you get used to it, it is hard to accept those changes. I found the same thing with books by Jonathan Kellerman. Those co-written with his son, Jesse, are not as good as his bookies without his son’s contributions. I don’t recall if Kellerman’s books have been mentioned here, but they are good reads. I have read all of his, except his new one which I have on hold at the library. His wife, Faye Kellerman, also has some good books she authored. As far as Stanford’s books, I have read all of them and enjoy them.

I saw that some of that was answered. With an iPhone, I can download photos from CC to reorient them, but it will not download the videos to convert them. I use an app called iConv to convert any iPhone videos to MP4 format before uploading to CC. It looks like this in the App Store.

Summit was the last ship we were on (Jan, 2020), before Covid hit.

Have a great cruise. We like Summit. Post some photos if you get a chance. Heck, post some videos, or live stream the cruise so we can feel like we are there. We are, after all, the unfortunate souls who have been left behind from the FOB cruise and now this one.

Somehow, that fish therapy just freaks me out. We get it for free in the summertime, when we dive off the boat to swim in the lake. For some reason, the fish love our feet.

So far, so good I guess. The sensor stays taped to your chest for 5 days, then you take it off and recharge it and tape it back to your chest for another 5 days. The sensor transmits the data to a Samsung phone that is used as a monitor, and that data gets sent somewhere. Have to keep wearing and recharging until April 6th. No messages from it, that there is anything of concern yet. Hope it stays that way. In the meantime, they have me scheduled for a scan next Wednesday.

So as I am nursing a cold, and I am banned from going to my daughter’s house for a couple days so she doesn’t catch it, I am spending my time with this. I am almost halfway through, and the jury is still out on whether I will like it. I prefer Myron or Win as characters, and this is a standalone book. Anyone read this one yet?

Did they downsize the cups? I just did an official measure of one I have at home, and it was 16 oz, or 1 pint.

Good to see they have the drink pails back in stock. Collected a few of those on Odyssey, but they were out of them the two weeks we were on Oasis last year.

Ricky uses one of those motion activated trash cans as he leaps from the floor to the kitchen island. Today, while the lid was off , and the trash was being taken out, he decided to NOT look before you leap. He was not happy where he ended up. Not sure he could have got out without help.
