We had a busy day, splitting our time between two games at the same time. Grandson’s team had their first loss today. Although the leaves have turned, and there are a ton still on the trees, we managed to bag up 22 bags of leaves today, plus a couple yard carts full. By the time the last of them are down, we will go through over 200 bags.

We use to get gator bites at one of the local restaurants that had unusual appetizers and mains.

Sometimes, I will just do a screenshot of a photo and upload it. Those look just as good as the photo, when viewed on my phone, iPad, or computer, and that is on a 27” monitor. They load much quicker.

Looks like a great family get together. We have a family reunion that they have kept going each year, for 120 years. Of course, Covid years were not well attended. It includes the descendants of my great great grandfather. When those older generations had a dozen kids, the numbers really add up.

I think CC downsizes the photos automatically. It would make sense that they don’t want to fill up their servers with huge file sizes. I looked at one of the photos Greg uploaded, and it was downsized to 472 kb. Probably much smaller than his original.

Oh, Greg, sorry to hear about your fall. Keep on your meds, and keep hydrated. You are lucky you didn’t get dizzy while making that long drive. Take it from someone who knows what can happen. I won’t go into it on your live thread. I hope you can enjoy all the things you have planned for your cruise.

Will be following this with interest. I had been looking at doing either these two cruises, or just flying to Hawaii for a week, then on to Australia for a NZ cruise. Enjoy

Okay, I am sufficiently depressed this morning. I forgot to change my calendar to remove our cancelled trips. It just reminded me we were supposed to be traveling today, for a Sunday cruise out of Boston. ☹️ I need to get my fix from the new LIVE reports.

It must depend on the capability of the hearing aids, the compatibility of the phone, and the OS. 2-way audio must be turned on for it to work.

Hearing aids have microphones in them. That is part of how they work. Heck, even my wife’s Apple Watch can be used to answer calls and talk to people, whenever she is not near her phone. Reminds me of Dick Tracy when she has her wrist up to her mouth, and she is taking to the watch.

Kind of gloomy here today too. Our leaf colors are supposed to peak this weekend, but heavy rain and wind brought a bunch down last night. If the sun was out, the color would pop more.

I think views depend a lot on the itinerary and the ship. The more unique it is, it would probably generate more views. I think if John were to do one for his world cruise, the views would be off the charts. I think the most views any of my trip reports got was around 105k for the sailing round trip to Hawaii on the Grand Princess. That report was still getting comments 3 years after it started. We did most of the highlights in Rome from a cruise. It was definitely a long day, but we had some entries that would skip the line. It would have been nice to spend more time there. That sounds like us, but we were only 3 years younger.
