  1. We love the front corner cc minis. They have a much larger than average balcony, with the ones on Marina being really huge. Also, the layout of the cabin works better for us than other categories. There's a good separation of sleeping area from the rest of the cabin, which is good for us since hubby gets up way too early. The only downside for us is that if the fog horn is sounding all night you really hear it in these.
  2. They show non-dairy in online shopping, so I guess they got that figured out. https://smize-cream.goldbelly.com/ But it says "sold out" so maybe it's just a placeholder?
  3. The "no brainer" part was said in the context of the new ice cream that they're going to be offering. That brand does offer dairy free, vegan flavors, so it seems to me that it should be simple for the ships carrying this option to order some dairy free items. These days, many manufacturers off this, Ben & Jerry's for instance.
  4. Boo! Hiss! I'm an early to bed person, so I have no idea what's available where any time after dinner. Room service?
  5. In that case, maybe the new ice cream option will work out well for you.
  6. Another thing. It occurs to me to wonder if Gelato, on the ships that have it, has any non-dairy options. Anybody know about that?
  7. I hope they'll have it for you and others who can't have dairy! Seems to me like it would be a no-brainer for them to do that.
  8. It looks like a press release, since it says this, "SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ ." But it's not (yet?) on their website in the News Center. Edit: found it on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/PrincessCruises
  9. I don't think so. As far as I know, the $35 booked in advance for platinum or elite is for the 1 device at a time package.
  10. According to the website (link shared above), they do have non-dairy, vegan options. Whether or not these will be on the ship - well, who knows.
  11. Good news! I do love ice cream. There's a website for this product: https://smizecream.com/
  12. I take three usually. 1) walking shoes, 2) walking shoes in case walking shoes 1) get wet, 3) black suede "go into dinner" shoes.
  13. I recently renewed mine via mail and expedited it. Got it back in three or four weeks.
  14. We also sailed on the Discovery in August and basically just walked onto the ship after going through security. Very happy.
  15. Twice baked goat cheese souffle.
  16. I'm a California resident, and I'm not seeing those prices in either my own account or hubby's. Maybe these prices are incentives for people who haven't cruised lately?
  17. Yeah, I'm logged in, and I'm not seeing them either.
  18. I wouldn't. For an 11:00 pm flight, I'd probably fall asleep somewhere in the airport and miss it completely.
  19. If you mean the eclipse cruise, best to look into that soon. It's pretty well sold out now. Probably cancellations later, but maybe not.
  20. We were on the Ruby last Halloween, and I can't honestly remember there being anything Halloween-specific. There might have been some banners or such in the piazza, but that's about it.
  21. Interesting to see two different flavors of cruise for the total eclipse of the sun on 4/8/24. We're booked on the Discovery Princess for that, and I've been wondering when/if the other lines would offer one.
  22. Nice! I'm on that roll call too, but I don't always recognize somebody else as being on it.
  23. Those obstructed OV cabins really are convenient. So easy to just nip down one deck to the promenade.
