Do you have an arrival time? If not, you should get one just to be on the safe side. I'm not sure they pay any attention to that at all, but we've had the first boarding group each time anyhow.
I can't remember anybody ever asking to see the QR code on any of the cruises we've been on since the restart.
I would go for the forward facing mini like a shot. We were on the Discovery in August, in M107, which is a different layout but has part of its extra large balcony facing the front. I was definitely able to sit out on the forward portion of the balcony during fjord day. It does get pretty windy when the ship's at some speed going from one place to another.
One thing to be aware of that won't keep us from booking a cabin in that location in the future is the fact that if it's foggy and the fog horn is sounding, you really hear that sucker.
I'm a big fan of the egg drop and the paper airplane contest! Yes, they're silly, ridiculous and childish, but they're also very popular with a lot of folks. I especially like the egg drop when the person running it gets everybody chicken dancing between drops.
The last one I got didn't go into my local spam folder. l logged into my mail server setup at my hosting provider, and there it was. I don't know if you have access to non-local spam folders, but if so you could check there.
We love the front corner cc minis. They have a much larger than average balcony, with the ones on Marina being really huge. Also, the layout of the cabin works better for us than other categories. There's a good separation of sleeping area from the rest of the cabin, which is good for us since hubby gets up way too early. The only downside for us is that if the fog horn is sounding all night you really hear it in these.
They show non-dairy in online shopping, so I guess they got that figured out. https://smize-cream.goldbelly.com/
But it says "sold out" so maybe it's just a placeholder?
The "no brainer" part was said in the context of the new ice cream that they're going to be offering. That brand does offer dairy free, vegan flavors, so it seems to me that it should be simple for the ships carrying this option to order some dairy free items. These days, many manufacturers off this, Ben & Jerry's for instance.
It looks like a press release, since it says this, "SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ ." But it's not (yet?) on their website in the News Center.
