  1. Just a caveat to the end of our day on the Daily. Eggs over easy and runny Eggs Benedict here. Goodnight to all of you. It’s been another fine day of diatribe on the Daily. 😉
  2. Black Racer snake? Harmless and will keep your pest population down. However, It’s a snake!😱
  3. Son called during Sail-Away. Missed it. I do have priorities especially for my oldest son.
  4. Checking in to practice my Sunday sail away. These charters some times are late sailing due to some late arriving star entertainers. Hopefully, not today.
  5. Still taken. Will check after boarding. Probably wouldn’t use it after San Diego. It was in 30’s and 40’s in British Columbia and Washington state yesterday. It’s a 20 day cruise so maybe will be warmer by then.
  6. @Cruising-along Carolyn please pass on to Henry a Get Well for me. Shopping trip was successful and lunch at Chan’s Wine Bar in Destin was fantastic. I had the duck salad and Sue the grilled salmon salad both were so delicious along with the wine. See Graham we go out to lunch now and then too.😁
  7. Drum Roll Please! Just got a reasonable up grade to a Neptune suite.
  8. Like lobster and blueberries in Maine; many uses. We had sugar on snow parties. Then we would beat the syrup until it congeals then we would spread it on our toast. Granulated maple sugar, fudge, ice cream. Got to put some in home made baked beans, cake frosting, glazes etc. It takes approximately 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of maple syrup. Quite the process but easier today than our ancestors. Canada is the largest producer but Vermonters swear theirs is the best. It’s all good and there is no comparison to real maple syrup.
  9. Meanwhile where I grew up in Vermont the sap is running. It’s Maple Syrup time. Whose making pancakes?
  10. I looked up about the Eurodam’s short charter cruise. It’s a Reggae themed cruise.Roy that’s 2024 out of Miami.
  11. Good morning. Already 73 degrees with a forecasted high of 80 degrees F. No news person to hug here as there all up in NYC salivating over today’s media spectacular. Thanks Graham for the explanation on walking around. You just can’t make these National days up but obviously someone did. Sure hope they don’t get paid for it. Little last minute shopping today, a stop at the bank for tip money and a lunch date with my honey. Plus more packing. I’ll be anxious to see what Debbie comes up with for today’s meal suggestion. I’ll try anything once. We looked on the Navigator App to get an idea what’s being offered in MDR Sunday evening. If it’s correct there is nothing on the menu that would suggest Easter Sunday traditional fare. It will be our first time dining in MDR in quite awhile as we had Club Orange on previous cruises. Thanks Sandi for publishing and distributing our Daily read. May all of you have a wonderful day. Bruce
  12. Like you I do not constantly stress over what the status of what the Hal industry is doing. We go on cruises and enjoy ourselves and in our case many cruises booked on Azamara and on Hal next week. Either you want to cruise or not. We cruise.
  13. Evidently so, as I read the other day that Carnival Corporation, as a whole, has exceeded a record high pre Covid bookings.
  14. Hope you don’t get Sail-Away withdrawal tremors!😁
  15. Prescriptions you can ask your pharmacist for an override and they will contact your insurance to lengthen your medications long enough to cover your absence. Mail either forward to a willing friend or neighbor or there are services that will hold your mail and even E-mail you of what you have received. The latter has a fee.
  16. Running late! If laundry is work then I’m going to my job. I went to college in Boston so I’m fairly familiar with this wonderful city. My first military assignment was on Cape Cod at Otis AFB so spent some grand years in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Will revisit on the Volendam 2025 Canada to Florida repositioning cruise. Thanks for the report. Missing @kazu Jacqui hope all is well. Have a great week. Bruce
  17. I concur and even with established tours there are many new hires without much training, local historical knowledge etc. Time will tell.

    New website.

A fellow cruiser on our World Roll Call said they called Azamara and was told there were problems with the RC booking transfers. Some did some didn’t. They asked when they estimated it will be fixed and running? Up to two weeks!
  19. I believe that is way more important. An early congratulations Happy Anniversary! Bruce
