  1. There is no Park Cafe on Anthem. Everything you listed is at the Cafe at Two70.
  2. We had a fruit plate left in the cabin day one and never got anything else. This was Oasis a few weeks ago.
  3. The top tier invite will be addressed to you but she should be allowed to attend with you. Some ships will collect the invites at the entrance to the venue and others just put up a private event sign, but don't check the invites of those walking into the venue. The top tier on Oasis a few weeks ago was held in the aqua theatre and there was plenty of empty seats. On Anthem, it is typically in Two70. The main level is usually pretty full but the upper balcony is almost empty. She should be okay walking in with you. Your benefits don't extend to your roommate but you can use one of your vouchers to get her a drink at a bar. She would likely be questioned by the diamond concierge if you were to bring her into the diamond lounge.
  4. There is no minimum age for a drink package and you do not have to buy it for all your kids. I wouldn't get one for a 3 or 5 year old. I would buy a frozen drink and split it between the two little ones. The frozen non alcoholic drinks are around $7 so I would consider if it even makes sense to buy for the older kids. It depends on their ages, if we are talking teens, I would because they will be out and about. I always told my son to just abandon his drink if he had left it unattended while playing basketball or something and get a new one, just to be safe. Having the refreshment package made sense for him.
  5. I have no idea if they do background checks on everyone they heir, they definitely do on anyone who is with children in Adventure Ocean. As far as corrupt government trying to get someone out of the country, that is a far reach. Why was a "little girl" out and about on her own with the parents back in the cabin? This is definitely a teaching moment as children are always taught to go to somewhere with lots of people or a neighbors house if they have an issue with someone, never go home or to your cabin alone. Go to guest services, a bar, restaurant or security. Go up to an officer in a white shirt or even a group of people and ask for help. Once you actually go on a cruise, you will see that it is very rare to see any crew in the cabin corridors other than cabin stewards as other crew is not allowed. Crew have certain areas they are allowed to go into and others they can't without permission. Different departments wear different uniforms so it would be very obvious if this person was coming to do maintenance on a cabin. Cruise ships are not the lawless places you think they are but common sense should always be used. Ships take any incident very seriously and will put people off in the next port or lock them down in their cabin until the ship returns to its homeport. We had a fight in the solarium on our last cruise and two went off the ship in cuffs in Bayonne. They had been held in separate cabins until we got back as it happened towards the end of the cruise. Two guards were outside one of the cabins they were in as it was women and one guard was not allowed to be with them alone. Not sure were the other person was held but this was deck 14. Multiple videos are floating around of the fight.
  6. This story is vey hard to believe. There are cameras everywhere. What did security say when the family reported the crew member? Did they pull the video showing her being followed? What happened when they followed up with corporate?
  7. The coconut ranger cookies are available on all the ships and mostly everyday. There can be days that they rotate a different cookie into the mix.
  8. Correct, one bottle per person, 21 years and over. Definitely a plus for a larger group of adults sharing a cabin.
  9. The dining room didn't even show as a venue for our recent Oasis sailing until about a week before our sailing. The menus then became available to see under the main and late seating but never for MTD. They should appear soon. There were a couple of other venues that didn't show until very late too.
  10. I never thought she was delusional. Carnival has a different policy and sometimes people get the policies confused. The port workers also get the policies confused frequently as some terminals are used by multiple cruise lines.
  11. The Royal Caribbean app has a text function too that works a lot better than it has in the past. The OP just needs to make sure they have their phone settings set correctly.
  12. Then you will fit right in on this thread, lots of made up stories by those who can't understand that others can have different experiences. 🙂
  13. Carnival doesn't allow bottles, are you confusing cruise lines maybe?
  14. There is no rule against plastic bottles. What port confiscated your bottles?
  15. We have sailed from Cape Liberty a lot and that port usually checks in early and boards early. We have done two cruises from there since the restart and did not have our check in time checked either time.
  16. Yes, Anthem has a Johnny Rockets that is a fast food type, ala carte version
  17. Quantum sailed all during covid out of Singapore and was fitted for that market. Some venues that are available in the US market, like the diamond lounge, are converted to high stake casinos. Restaurants and menus are different also in Singapore. The early May sailings had venues still being converted back to what is typical in the US market. Add propulsion issues and a rockslide and it made for an interesting first season for Quantum in Alaska.
  18. An email went out to all C&A members when the change was made. It is also listed in the C&A section of the Royal Caribbean website.
  19. Their parking lot can fill up fast too since part of it is roped off for Amazon vehicles.
  20. That one looks big. I would try for one that is more rounded. Also, you can underinflate it to make it easier to fit. People just hang them in the shower when not in use so they don't have to blow it up everyday.
  21. They do Port Canaveral first to avoid having to do immigration in Florida. One sailing had Miami as a port of call after the Bahamas and did immigration there and it was a nightmare. People were in the terminal and outside in line for hours as they tried to clear the ship. They have changed the order of ports that have a Miami stop now to be before the Bahamas to avoid immigration in Miami now.
  22. A small blowup baby tub will fit. Other option is block drain with a towel or facecloth and use handheld shower to wash child as they sit.
  23. For our Quantum Alaska sailing last year, it was used as an area to sell warm clothing, fleece blankets and binoculars. No food.
  24. The Noodle Shop is back? It was not open on our Alaska sailing last year.
