  1. The 13 yr old can come and go as they please. You can give the 10 yr old the ability to check out if you want to.
  2. Are entertainment reservations opening up about a month before sailing or is there no pattern?
  3. He is flying SWA, he doesn't have a seat assignment. He will have to take what is available once he makes the run from gate to gate. Hopefully, one of the flights has a gate change it they are closer together.
  4. He is in the air now. It is going to be a tough connection to make. He is coming into gate B13 and leaving from A7. Fingers crossed.
  5. Glad your plane is there. According to Flightaware, FLL is having departure delays of 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes and increasing due to thunderstorms. All inbound flights are being held at their origins until 11:30am. https://flightaware.com/live/airport/delays I hope you get out of their soon! Flightaware has a really good app too that is worth downloading.
  6. I was just doing some searching for group or themed cruises as we might be booking soon and found one link that was a travel agency that lists many, many themes and cruises on lots of cruise lines. With the suggested keywords of themed or group, you should be able to find a few different long lists. I also found this on Royal Caribbean's website that shows some themed cruises for 2023. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/plan-a-cruise/themed-cruises
  7. I definitely still have lingering covid issues including fatigue. It has improved but I just don't have the stamina I used to have. I still have altered sense of taste and smell which has really been frustrating me lately. I have discussed things with my PCP but he is very nonchalant about everything. He is retiring and I am looking into finding a new PCP and want to see an ENT also. I had covid in May and I am ready for this to be over with. I think age does play a factor and it takes longer for us to get over things but I also think this virus is just different than what we have dealt with in the past and there is no easy, do this and everything gets better antidote. Get lots of rest and pace yourself. I hope things improve for you soon. 🙂
  8. I don’t think I have ever seen it this cold here before, from -2.5 to -10.4 in only two hours. Time is off an hour, no one ever adjusted it for day light savings time.
  9. Definitely getting colder here and the wind is howling. Really cold in that bay window too. Need to replace that one this spring.
  10. Covid definitely complicates getting seen anywhere these days. Feel better soon. 🙂 I am happy the iPhone survived though! 😉😇
  11. We have also stayed in 7172 and heard the band most nights. It wasn't bad, mostly the bass. That cabin is over the stage which is why I think you hear more than 7676.
  12. That option is listed as something that can be bought through the travel agency that had the group on the cruise. Additional options like that are typically only available to the group, not the ship as a whole. I know when there are music partial charters, the cruise fares that the group pay are considerably higher due to the added concerts, parties, etc. I know I have seen non-group people have asked on the ship to see a concert and the cost to attend was ridiculously high.
  13. The cruise line was offering the kosher dining for sale to the whole ship, not just those traveling with that travel agency?
  14. No where did I say that at all. Keep spinning...🙄
  15. We always see lots of kids in the bars but usually at a table with their parents for trivia or nightly entertainment. I don't think it is appropriate for the kids to be sitting at the bar though. I know around where I live, kids aren't allowed to sit at the bar.
  16. Just Google. I always search group cruise and my ship name and date to see if I can find anything out there. Many times it is just smaller groups like a wedding or a bachelorette party sailing. You know key words for this timeframe now, so search on those words and you will find a travel agency. There are other partial charters for music cruises and other themes, just do a little searching. I am trying to stay within board guidelines, not trying to be evasive. 🙂
  17. Yes, this happens every year at this time. When sailing a 7 night cruise in January it makes sense to do some searching to find out what ships are having kosher cruises. Used to be on Anthem a lot out of Cape Liberty but Royal changed the January sailings to longer sailings in recent years so the kosher cruises have been going out of Florida.
  18. Yeshiva week cruise with venues closed for Kosher dining.
  19. We liked the bumper cars but haven't done them on our last cruises because there is too much head to head collisions. Most places we have ridden bumper cars make you go in a circle and kick you out if you do head on collisions. Last time we rode, there was a group of three that were targeting people, they would hit head on and on either side all at the same time. Crew did nothing about it.
