  1. This link should answer your questions. 🙂 https://www.royalcaribbean.com/experience/accessible-cruising/autism-friendly-ships
  2. The stickers were a temporary thing while they didn't have cups with chips in them. I haven't read of any ship still using the stickers.
  3. Correct, so those that were still up, could also enjoy another set of drink vouchers, instead of having to buy drinks.
  4. The one we got most recently is better than the solid color ones they had for a while but not as good as some we have had in the past. It is also smaller, only holds 16 ounces and isn't as well insulated.
  5. Staying on deck 7 is not the big issue some feel it is. All you have to do it be aware of which elevator bank to take since you can't cross over at the rear elevators due to the Boardwalk sign above the doors to the Boardwalk on deck 6. We have stayed on deck 7 and only messed up once all week. If they do happen to take the wrong set of elevators, they can just go up or down one deck, cross over and take the other set to deck 7. We just used the stairs but they could easily use the elevator.
  6. You are getting the wrong idea. Promenade Cafe has pastries in the morning, little sandwiches and cookies/desserts the rest of the day, as well as coffee/tea/etc. Park Cafe has bagels/cream cheese/lox, breakfast sandwiches, fruit cups, pastries in the morning. At lunch, it has the Kummelweck sandwiches, paninis, made to order salads, premade salads, soups, chips, desserts and more I am not remembering.
  7. We have used their business card too. Anthem had the white card in the slot last time we sailed that ship.
  8. The swing top trash cans in the bathrooms have always had plastic bags in them on our cruises as others have noted also. The plastic bag makes it difficult to get trash into those small trash cans but they have always been present. The fake brass looking metal trash cans in the rest of the cabin have never had a plastic bag in them on our cruises.
  9. The slot is not a room key depository, it is a master switch that controls the lights and AC. A card must be in the slot for the AC to work and for all the lights to work. If there isn't a card in the slot, you get some low ambient lighting and the circulation fan works, no cooling. We prefer the wardrobes that are now in the newer designed cabins and my 30" softsided suitcase does fit in the bottom of the wardrobe that does not have the shelving in it.
  10. Definitely should not be charged a corkage fee and should have been removed at guest services. Ask for the head waiter in the future if they are charging you incorrectly so you don't need to go have it fixed at guest services.
  11. The app didn't show breakfast hours for JR until we were on the ship and connected to the ship wifi on our recent Oasis cruise,
  12. The letter says the change starts on all sailings starting on or after December 16th, so those boarding today should have the new times. 🙂
  13. No, there is no fee to borrow from the list of equipment that the special needs department loans out.
  14. We had a medical refrigerator on Oasis. It was small and noisy. We had requested a sharps container and the rep put in for both a sharps container and the refrig I would request it if you need one, it was very cold.
  15. They are sailing on Oasis, there are no drawers in the nightstands, only shelves. Refrigerator has been very cold on all our Oasis sailings, not like the coolers on older ships. The OP absolutely should book their shows prior to sailing now that this is a possibility again. They will not get into the comedy club or the aqua show unless they have a reservation or plan to stand in a standby line at least an hour prior to the show. They should keep an eye on the rollcall for their sailing to see when others have been able to book shows so they don't miss out. I also check my cruise planner regularly to see if they are available to book. As far as private islands, do bring some cash if you plan on going to the straw market on Labadee as your sea pass does not work with the private vendors, cash only. There are also attendants that will move chairs to wherever you want on Labadee that expect a tip. As far as kids 14 and 12, I would have no issue with them going around the ship together, night or day. We always made sure we knew where our son was going to be and he knew where we were and if plans changed, we left a note in the cabin, as did he. Just set your rules for your kids upfront. We always gave our son charging privileges and a daily budget because it teaches them to be responsible. He knew if he bought more than he was allowed, it was coming out of his money. He also knew if he saw a tshirt or something he wanted, he just had to show us and we would okay the purchase. You know your kids, if they are responsible kids, there is no reason to not let them enjoy themselves. As far as the safes on Oasis, ours fit two 8" Kindles, 3 cell phones, a small jewelry pouch, passports and two small wallets. My iPad did not fit in at all, the safe was not deep enough. There was plenty of room for it at an angle but just not the depth for it.
  16. If you find it harder to count to 4, 5 or 6 starting at 5am versus starting at midnight, I think you have a much bigger problem. Did you have problems with the 3 vouchers that used to be only used for happy hour? They are starting to put the drink count on receipts they are now printing out for the voucher drinks to make it easier for those who can't keep track.
  17. Put that stuff in the trash can in the bathroom that has the plastic bag in it. They take the plastic bag and all when they empty that trash. We put cans and bottles in one trash can near the vanity table, so no sorting needed.
  18. If kids are seen out after that time, they are asked to return to their cabin. If they do not comply, they will be escorted to their cabin and then will likely have a meeting with security the next day. Kids 17 and under are allowed out after curfew if they are with a parent or guardian or are participating in a ship sponsored, like a teen club event. If that event ends after 1am, they will not be hassled if they are headed back to their cabin, security knows what is going on.
  19. They were talking about the vouchers, you get 7 days worth of vouchers on a 7 day cruise, so day 8 is not a day for departing guests to get vouchers. That is how I read that post.
  20. I lost my Dad 22 years ago this past Sunday, he was only 67 and was sick the last 5 years of his life. My Mom is 85 and has had a really tough year. My parents always said, do what you can, while you can because you never know. We try to remember that everyday.
