  1. It was busy when we sailed but we were able to get a table immediately one time and only waited about 5 minutes the other time.
  2. That partial menu above shows that sandwich but I don't remember that on our recent Oasis sailing. Radio did a two week live review immediately before our sailing that had pictures of all the menus. If you look for that review you should be able to see the whole menu. In the past, we have always been able to get fresh squeezed OJ there too and they said they don't do that anymore as they don't have a machine. They never had a machine there though, they used to get pitchers of it from the MDR.
  3. I did not say they only have scrambled eggs, I said they added scrambles with stuff in them, big difference. There is one that has just vegetables in it and cheese and a couple others with meat and vege combinations. Omelets are gone, which was the big draw on Oasis class ships as there are very few places that you can get an omelet. They still have eggs any style, pancakes and french toast. There are now a couple of pay options too.
  4. Yes, breakfast is free but the menu has changed post covid. Menu has gotten really limited. They are no longer serving omelets, they have added three different scrambles with stuff in them. My DH tried one and it was okay, not great.
  5. I agree, it is a very generous donation and I do hope he follows through on it. This wasn't one of my favorite seasons, maybe the show has just run its course and has too many gimmicks now.
  6. Yes, you can ask for a wine ice bucket, no explanation needed at all. As far as the coolers in the cabins vs refrigerators, the older ships have coolers that like little door refrigerators but they are not as cold as a real refrigerator. Many just request ice and put the ice bucket in the refrig to keep it colder. A wine bucket will be too big to fit in though. The newer ships have much better refrigerators that keep things cold. We have had something ice up too because they are so cold, so be careful what you place where. As far as the soda package, if the girls don't drink soda or only occasionally, you might just want to have them buy a can when they want one. If there were freestyle machines, they would have had lots of non soda options but with no freestyles there are really limited soda options. There are lots of free drink options for them if they aren't soda drinkers.
  7. Normally not a problem if you bring one or two unopened cans back on the ship. Anything open will need to be thrown out. We have had our backpack checked to see if it is a soda though and not a beer.
  8. I think that would be a great choice but not sure he has the experience for that vessel yet. Last I knew he was on a tugboat. I know he has the license he needs though.
  9. CBD oil is not sold on excursions sold by the cruise line. CBD oil can be found in some of the stores in ports and you can buy it. Might as well say they sell illegal drugs too as those have been offered to us on shopping excursions in the past too. That was a very misleading statement that was made.
  10. There is lots of speculation online as to who the replacement is and at one point there was even a picture supposedly of that Captain on the boat with Rachel. That picture has been deleted. If it is who many are saying, this Captain is slow at making a move.
  11. I am sorry for your loss. I have never had them send me a cancellation email when I have cancelled a cruise. I had purchased insurance from the cruise line when I booked though, so when I called insurance, they could see I had cancelled. I didn't have to provide anything proving the cancellation but had to provide documentation for the reason why.
  12. We got it from a vendor at the City Market. Really cool place within walking distance from the piers. It supposedly was made from clay from the Bay of Fundy.
  13. We finally got our tree yesterday and are decorating it tonight. I thought I would share one of the ornaments we have from a stop in Saint John, New Brunswick. 😀😇
