  1. It is normal for them to serve the whole table at once, otherwise, it makes it difficult for the waitstaff and it is also awkward if some people are eating and others aren't. We request a table for just our party these days as we have had enough weird experience with larger tables. As far as ordering everything at once, it has been that way for years. I think it started back when then reduced the amount of options on the menus.
  2. You order all your courses at the same time, including dessert, with traditional dining too.
  3. I have never seen a single table for 20 but have seen a large family groups at two tables for 10, side by side.
  4. When you call back, do not mention that it was a guaranty. Just call and say you want to move from 3V cabin XXXX to 3V cabin ZZZZ.
  5. Are sailings from Singapore still only for Singapore residents or are they finally open to all?
  6. None of the charges that appeared where added after leaving the ship in my case, they appeared just like any other charge, when I made the purchase. I had been told by medical that room service and pay per view movies were free but they don't flag your account. You just have to get them removed.
  7. How is a cash account going to make a difference in this case?
  8. Just saw this on FB. Watch What Happens Live will be broadcasting from Celebrity Beyond on November 1st with all of the Below Deck Captains and Captain Kate. That should be an interesting show!
  9. I recently had to isolate in my cabin on Oasis and was told I got free room service, free pay per view movies and free bottled water. I didn't bother to ask about free internet as I already had Voom. I was charged for both room service and movies and had to have it corrected by Guest Services.
  10. We sailed Oasis earlier this month and were able to book Chops for 5:30 for day 1, immediately after boarding. The restaurant was completely full when we left, with people waiting for tables.
  11. We have been able to book all of our dinner reservations in CK when staying in a JS immediately after boarding the ship pre covid. I have seen posts post covid that people have only been able to book day to day initially but seems to be changing back to the norm recently. I would go to CK once you board and see what they say. We have had no issues with times and days on Anthem but were limited to only a few times on Oasis.
  12. I totally understand where you are coming from. We don't try to bring others because if every person who is in a suite can bring an additional three people into the suite line as someone claims, that pretty much makes priority suite boarding useless. We also do not as the concierge if we can bring someone in either as it puts them in an awkward position. If they say yes to one, then they need to say yes to all. There is always going to be someone who is going to share their benefits and strut around telling all that it is right, that just isn't us. We will use the benefits that come with our crown and anchor status and our suite and will happily sit in the regular boarding area with our family or the schooner bar instead of a lounge all the other times. Give them a call and see if you can get an answer. I looked on the website but I can not see anywhere that says you can have others join you. Either way, enjoy the suite. Let us know if you get a definitive answer. 🙂
  13. Priority boarding is listed as a benefit of booking a suite. It does not specifically say it is only for those in your suite but it doesn't not specifically say you can have your friends and family tag along either. We sail in suites a lot but will also sail in a balcony occasionally, especially if we are sailing with others that do not book suites. If we are in a suite, we do not bring the others into the suite boarding area, we go with them in their area and board with them.
  14. Your definition of sailing by her is different than others. You do not go by the statue if you go out of Cape Liberty unless you go up river. You just see it in the distance.
  15. Ships that sail out of Cape Liberty do not go by the Statue of Liberty. Yes, you can see the statue in the distance, but you do not sail by the statue. On a rare occasion, they will go up river and by the statue and then go out to see under the bridge, but that does not happen frequently at all. Oasis went up river last week?
  16. Yes, you can get a can of soda as one of your diamond drinks. Oasis did have Coke Zero in cans when we were on recently. Soda in cans is not typically included in the soda and refreshment packages but we have been given cans in some venues recently with the refreshment package.
  17. Moving under performing shows to streaming, instead of outright cancelling, seems to be a trend. ABC did the same thing with Dancing with the Stars. They moved it to Disney +. We haven't made the move from cable to streaming but plan to look into it eventually.
  18. You can find the menus in the app.
  19. I received a letter from Guest Services both times I was quarantined/isolated this year. The letters I received clearly states exactly what I will be receiving, date of the sailing and my reservation number. I would suggest that if you are promised a refund or FCC in the future, do not leave the ship without securing a letter from Guest Services. Both my DH and I have been quarantined prior to covid for influenza and we received letters then too. In that instance, we were never contacted by the cruise line to initiate the FCC. I called after a few weeks to see what the status was and was able to send copies of the letters to the post cruise department and received the FCC within days. The post cruise department was able to contact the ship and see we were in the quarantine log for our sailing based on the letters.
  20. It is amazing reading the posts from those who don't go to the Windjammer at night, yet claim they know what goes on. We have been going to dinner in the WJ for years because of the cook to order stations, unlike what is served in the MDR. We enjoy a nice, hot meal cooked how we want, with the ingredients we want. There are many of the options from the MDR but many different options too. The dessert nights, especially on Anthem are amazing. We have seen donut nights, cake nights, make your own sundaes, just to name a few. It is a much quieter experience than the craziness of the MDR. Waiters do come around and ask you if you need any drinks. The make your own pizzas is my DH favorite but I have only seen that on Radiance class ships. I do remember the table cloths at dinner in the WJ years ago and even a guitarist that used to play on the Mariner when it first started sailing from Port Canaveral over 15 years ago.
  21. Search for a recent review by the poster Radio. Lots of pictures of compasses, shows at a glance and pretty much every flyer.
  22. The MDR will be able to make what your sister needs. I would not waste my money on specialty dining. The MDR has a special kitchen that deals with all the dietary requests, they are trained to deal with specialized needs.
  23. With the constantly changing refund policies it is very easy for them to get confused. Did you send them the letter you received on the ship? That should have detailed everything for them.
  24. It looks like Fan Halen is on Anthem 11/6 though 11/20. edit to add link: https://www.bandsintown.com/e/103703669-fan-halen-at-royal-caribbean-anthem-of-the-seas
