I do hate Casablanca - years ago we ( a few pax and myself ) were embarrased on the streets and we went to a"decent" hotel for a taxi once i had to join the chef aware i do speak French to buy items , on our way back he had to tip nearly everybody until we were back on the ship my recipe fot an eventual day in Casablanca : a non complimentary bottle of Champagen for lunch😁

I am just back home from the Dawn , cruise ending in Lisbon. Those private security people are sometimes terrible - worsest was in Valencia shouting to the guests : hat off , watch in box in a rude way

I am living in Europa so I will try one 7 day cruise - flight with bonusmiles 🤑

1 is not good at all IMHO ... you have to be there for all the pax not only for the PH save you all the other details but previously tried to avoid the person when booking

I will try a one week in 2024 - instead of my annual "cheap " cruise on mass market I will endure the "single" cabin for 7 days and if the product is bad then we do know it

I - unfortunately - saw a male couple with a service dog years ago both on SS as on SB They were causing a lot of nuissance because it was not a "clean" dog and growling They also brought the dog into the restaurants and gave him food with the fork On SS I left the dining room on one evening and called for room service because they were sitting close to my table.

i got 5 pm and went at 11.30 am not problem 13 people

there is quite a lot published in cruise critic under "luxury cruises" and a few reviews as well if you are going to the "reviews " by the name of the ships i did more as 40 cruises on hapag lloyd however never on the expedition ships the Inspiration is international , the Spirit adult only and the Nature is German I did visit the Inspiration in my hometown when she was brand new : beautiful ship i can assure you everything is exxtremely wel organised by Hapag lloyd!

as a single - so far I only had unpleasant news from New C ... what is next : a very expensive wine list for non complimentary wines and a hefty corkage fee ? I can live without Crystal having a high status on Hapag Lloyd and for the other cruises : dancing from one special offer for singles on various companies in the luxury level to another but no SB and no more iritating on board ...when thinking on the great days on C before all in .

also the SALT cooking class seemed to be free on SS

yes i forgot that Asian resto as I never eat Asian sorry

on Hapag Lloyd and Regent no single extra on SS only fot La Dame

last year there were terrible problems at Amsterdam airport and some carriers even deviated for 2023 to Brussels .

i did book 2 Explora cruises , the first last year the second after I got the shock by the single treatment on new C paired with the no single gesture of goodwill .

and in my case unwilling to pay the single fares for poor cabins !

IMHO a lot of changes must be done - obviously mr Anderson is not or was not aware or very unwilling at all what was going wrong on both the ships ! hotel directors : one is close to retirement one is completelly incompetent for his function they are going for the easiest way :us knows us ! what is next : reappoint all the restaurant managers ??? and then all the future cruise sales ??? and then all the singers lecturers and entertainers being there for at least 10 years or more??? so far new Crystal is missing the chance of "new fresh air" and thinking all the pax will come back just because they like cruise director x , cruise sales y and resto manager z and being pampered in the past by headwaiter a no single courage to clean up the mess of the past!!😝

IMHO for 75 procent one should not be reappointed at all but cannot mention his name

so far I must make the conclusion new Crystal is not single minded at all ...

what an amount of money for a Caribbean cruise ... usually before the holidays in December there a specials even on the luxury lines

I an aware the company did spend a lot of money to attract top people from other lines and Moet as complimentary bubbles Fares are going up : my cruise booked for late august went up with 25 %

You deviated me to SS after many years and also to Regent LOL🤑

mrs catlover - new Crystal shall not happen in 2023 - even 2024 is doubtful - also angry new C is going to that port of Bruges Zeebrugge instead of to🤔 my hometown I will be on Regent Splendor 21 March ( 25 % s sup ), Europa 2 on 10 th June and on Silver Dawn 23rd April and 4th November 2023 the door for SB is still closed - permanently I have a medical disease so I cannot guarantee for sure to be on board also I decided not to do longer cruises ( + 7 days ) to N Europe anymore HL is aware of my identity on CC but will not communicate and I do not think I am that famous at all , only crazy of gastronomy or said by somebody the guy speaking several languages 😁

I made 2 bookings as well caused by the fact nothing was done by actual "new" Crystal to faithful ( and damaged ) pax I expect another approach - more continental gastronomy on Explora and a cheaper wine list as on C Complimentary Champagne shall be Moet - despite not my favourite still very nice to offer .

Unfortuntely last year in summer - heathwave - it was terrible to find decent transportation to Steinwerder - taxi drivers were not very happy or willing as usually they could not catch somebody back to the center it was a long drive due to traffic some 35 e
