  1. Which means they can fly home but not without hassle. It is false when posters say they are not able to fly home as in never.
  2. I’m well aware of that and that’s why I responded the way I did. My point was there are many posters on here that say without a passport you cannot fly home and that is false information.
  3. Exactly. I bet it was another cruise line they're thinking of.
  4. So sorry this happened to you, very disappointing for sure. I couldn't image how it would feel to see that cancellation notice come in. I hope your next cruise makes up for it ten fold.
  5. Then say that. What you posted as many others do when someone doesn’t have a passport is they can’t fly home and that is just not true. It’s a hassle sure but you are not confined to whatever country you’re in forever. I’m team passport and think anyone traveling should have one but if the cruise line doesn’t require it for all cruises then some will not get them, which I can understand.
  6. That is false information. A passport is always the best to have but if you travel with a BC & DL and are a US Citizen, they don’t just keep you in that country forever. 🙄 Sure, it takes a little more work to fly back but you will be flying back home.
  7. I would dispute it with your CC company. You paid for something you did not receive and the parking garage wrongfully denied the refund.
  8. Since you didn’t like the Diamond and you know Sapphire is pretty much identical except for Vines & Alfredo’s, is that enough to make you want to sail on that class of ship again? Are you willing to give it another try? That’s what you’ll need to decide.
  9. I would agree with you if it was in a public area but walking down the cabin corridor, I would just ignore it. That wouldn't have an affect of my enjoyment on my cruise at all and if it bothered me that much, I wouldn't look towards that cabin door as I walked by.
  10. I agree with you! I’ve found several ducks and it’s so much fun. They’re all so different and so cute.
  11. Nope, not a butthead and I agree with you. The tape I use doesn’t leave a residue. I always make sure the door is clean when I leave, that’s why I take then down the night before debarkation.
  12. These have been some of my door decorations. I always make sure to take them down and nothing is left on the door.
  13. Before the medallions, one Princess cruise in 2016, I put a sailing themed decoration on the door. I always take mine down the night before debarkation, well, going back to my cabin one night around evening turn down service, I walked right past it, my room steward was down the hall where I was heading and smiled at me and pointed in the other direction and said your cabin is back there Miss Toni. We laughed. I really do depend on them I guess, plus they're just fun.
  14. Well, then, that blows the "safety" concern completely out of the water. Oh, maybe fire can't spread as fast with the decorations on the inside of the door.
  15. Had it for the first time on my Panorama cruise last October. Don’t know how I could have missed out on it all these years. It was yummy!
  16. I have had multiple bookings for the same cruise just different cabins until I decide which one i want to go with. Just make sure you book a refundable deposit unless of course that is not a concern to you.
  17. I think they are. Had a few of them on my Panorama cruise last October. Sooo good. I suggest you get one on your cruise and you’ll have your answer. 😁
  18. The wipes should not be flushed and yes they will mess with the toilet system. On a Princess cruise one time and while my now ex husband knew not to flush them, I guess he decided to ignore it or test it, I don't know but it ended up requiring a maintenance person to unlock the panel in the hallway by our door and retrieve the said flushed wipes. So embarrassing and just stupid.
  19. That is a great idea!
  20. No microwaves available. If it were me, I would bring some of those ThermaCare Heat Wraps.
  21. And quite a few years ago, you could open the door for fresh air, no balcony or step out, but having the door open was nice. I had one on the Pride a long time ago. I love those cabins.
  22. I’m an earlier the better get there, check in, possibly wait a while in the terminal kinda gal. I would much rather be there waiting than at home waiting. I like to get a celebratory drink and go to the open dining room for a relaxed lunch and then explore the ship with another celebratory drink. 😁 I have never sailed from Sydney though, so not familiar with the process. Either way, have a wonderful cruise!
