Been in 7298 many times because we were sailing with our DD so needed the sofa bed. I was laying out on the lounger on the balcony one day and someone from Lido decided they didn't want their onions from their mongolian wok bowl and tossed them over the side which landed right on me. Another time, a guy one deck above decided to throw his cup of ice over onto the balcony, I don't think he knew I was standing there, when I looked up at him like *****, he was very apologetic.

You don't have to wait until the last day. Your wife can go to guest services when the grats hit your folio and adjust the gratuity however she wants to.

Usually the sofa is made up into the 3rd bed so you may already have a cabin for 3. Make sure that is the case and then call Carnival to see what the 3rd fare would be to add another to the booking.

Does the cabin you booked hold 3 or more people? Also, if you booked directly with Carnival, you can call to add the 3rd person, if you booked with a travel agent, you need to contact them.

Book for the both of you. There’s always that possibility you can’t add her later.

I would get a prescription from the Dr before your cruise so you already have it IF you need it.

One good thing about Covid now is, it’s not the same Covid as in 2020. The bad part about it, is that it’s airborne, and to add to that, before people even feel sick at all, they’re spreading it around. There’s not much you can do about that.

I’ve been on five cruises since 2022 and caught it one time out of those five. It was a 10 day, all the others were 7 days. I consider myself lucky. We now have to live with Covid, along with Colds & the Flu. I will continue to travel with no worries or second thoughts.

The person the offer was booked under has to sail, if they don’t, that offer is no longer valid for anyone sailing with them.

Hopefully, you'll be doing some sightseeing or other things in California because that is a long flight just for a short cruise.

It looks like you pretty much only have 3 options. 1) Pay the balance owed from 7 years ago. 2) Spend the time and resources to go after the "travel agent". 3) Find another cruise line. Sorry this happened to you, I hope it works out in your favor.

The adults only pool is The Retreat Pool on Sun Deck 17. On my two Discovery cruises, there were kids in the Wake View pool on Deck 16. I don’t believe that one is adults only.

My DD lives in Honolulu and she will never move back to California, she said it's just too cold. She lives in tank tops/shorts & flip flops year round for the most part. Whenever I check the weather there, it's generally 82 degrees all the time, no matter what day it is, rain is on and off though.

Masks are no guarantee you won’t get it.

Dolphin deck & Baja deck are half covered.

Unless you have it in writing, I wouldn’t count on it. I’ve never had them pay my final payment automatically. Not saying it doesn’t happen. I wouldn’t risk having it cancel and losing the deposit. I would pay it. Also, too late now but I never wait until the final day to make the payment. Too many things can go wrong. I’m a worry wart though. Good Luck with it.

I can sympathize with your disappointment but if you’ve had 30 cruises all with Princess and I assume they were satisfactory, why would you let one less than satisfactory keep you from never cruising them again. Just trying to understand your logic there. Either way, I hope your next cruise line is everything you expect it to be.

It sure sounds to me that you will not be drinking anywhere near $1000 worth of drinks. If you’re questioning whether it’s worth it if you don’t drink the 6 per day to break even, you should just pay as you go. Happy Anniversary and enjoy your cruise!
