That is why I never order margaritas on the ship, that neon sweet & sour mix and no fresh limes are a hard no for me. I also don’t order cosmos because it’s not real cranberry juice. Straight up dirty martinis it is.

They were not there on my Panorama cruise in October. I love mushrooms on a burger so was a little disappointed.

Interesting. I called Princess last week and tried to put a hold on a cabin and was told they discontinued that option. You can’t do it on the website either. You might want to make sure they’re really on hold.

Was on the Discovery twice and went to Take 5 every night for the jazz music. It’s a live band and each night they played different jazz era type music. It started around 8pm and ended around midnight. It was so much fun. We really enjoyed our evenings there but we are Jazz fans. There is a design flaw though that really irritates me. There is a walkway between the band and the seats in the lounge and it gets very busy in the evening. To me, it’s very disrespectful to the band members to have this walkway right in front of them.

The dining room food was actually excellent on my Panorama cruise a couple of months ago, I know it can be hit or miss but I was pleasantly surprised.

Mine is a stupid one but huge to me and puts a big smile on my face. Once rooms are ready on embarkation day, there is just something about the ship smell while walking down the hall to my cabin. It’s the same every time and I love it. 😁

Actually the packets in the buffet were discontinued many years ago, that’s why he brought his own. ETA: To the OP, you’re able to bring drink packets with you and there is no limit.

I don’t remember seeing hot chocolate dispensers on Princess. My dad would bring the Nestle hot chocolate packets with him on every cruise because you had to pay for hot chocolate at the International Cafe.

In that case, I would take the cove.

I booked the RT Los Angeles to Hawaii 10/15/24 cruise yesterday and got the $400 OBC for the Plus Package. It wasn’t offered on the standard package. I just checked now and the OBC is gone, for this cruise at least.

I had a cabin on the Discovery last year on the Sky deck, I could open my door and see the lounger availability. I never saw chair hogs out there, at least on this cruise. It was a very nice place to hang out. Just steps above that was another area with two hot tubs and plenty of loungers. It’s a nice alternative if you can’t book the Sanctuary.

I’m sorry your cruise was cancelled, so disappointing for sure. I don’t follow Heald at all so I can’t comment on that. I hope you have a great time on your future cruises and you make it to the Mexican Riviera, it’s a great itinerary.

Ok, my theory is out. Maybe a problem with the tablet but it’s very annoying.

I think this happens when the bar is very busy. They either have a hard time seeing your picture on their tablet or don’t want to take the time to look. They then just ask for your cabin #. That’s one problem with the medallion. Just keep checking your account for errors.

I was on the 10/21 sailing and all went well, no issues. Unfortunately, the problems popped up again with the 2nd sailing after mine but that doesn't mean she's not a great ship.
