  1. There are self service laundries on Splendor. I don’t know the cost. EM
  2. The Crystal ships are not visiting…may never have visited. The line was bankrupted by parent company and ships have been sold at auction. EM
  3. The beds are in an L formation. I found pictures on cruise deck plans of that cabin on Inspiration. EM
  4. The next question is what type of cabin? If it is anything but an inside, the scooter could be parked in front of the couch, which most likely will be used for the third person. Inside cabins have two bunks in the ceiling, the scooter would have to be stored at the foot of the lower beds, and it would be best if the lowers stay as twins. EM
  5. I doubt there are any accessible rooms for four. which ship? EM
  6. I think the best scooter advice can be had on the board here for Disabled Cruising, located under Special Interest Cruising. Have you been back to your thread on the MSC board to at least tell us which ship you are on? EM
  7. At the top of the threads page on the left, under the Find your roll call, in smaller print is See posts about. Click on the ship list and you get a drop down menu with the list of ships. EM
  8. I like pockets. I don’t buy clothes that don’t have pockets, including dresses. I want my pants to have back pockets for my phone. Remember those paper chain garlands we used to make in kindergarten for the Christmas tree? Do that with the wristbands.
  9. Keep in mind that the OP is sailing in the Med and regulations about taking food off the ship might be less strict. Open borders in the EU and all that. Perhaps some members who are from Europe can chime in…. EM
  10. Camp groups are 2-5 and 6-8. The younger group is not operating. If your 5 y/o is vaccinated you can ask if he/she can join the next group, but don’t plan on it being approved. EM
  11. There is a current Live thread that shows they made Skagway on Tuesday. EM
  12. For people on that many cruises, I hope they are Carnival shareholders, or eligible for military credit. That OBC would go a long way toward gratuities…. EM
  13. Is this a package deal, with flights included in the price? There will be drink stations in the buffet area where you can fill/refill your bottle. The water in your cabin sink is also safe to drink. yes, you can bring cigarets onboard. if you read the P&O website you will find the suggested dress code.
  14. Because they can’t be vaccinated, there is no camp available for that age group. They are on YOUR own. EM
  15. Ah, but remember there are colleges in Puerto Rico, too. And spring break might be a good time for a Quinceanera celebration.. EM
  16. Beach will be right next to the pier. Also pool at Margaritaville. For Grand Turk. Your arrival time is assigned, you can’t ask to change. Has been that way since way before Covid. Arrive early and you will wait outside in the heat. lido buffet and other venues on Lido open for lunch on embarkation. Not sure about Pig & Anchor on Lanai. EM In addition to browsing this forum, read the Carnival website.
  17. I remember being on 14 day cruises and there would be a show one week by the Filipino crew, next week Indonesian crew. They were done late, like 11pm, and when you entered the theater they would hand out balloons and you blew them up and batted them around… (or maybe that was on Princess…). EM
  18. The new inside cabins on the Grand deck (14) added to Elation and Paradise. In addition, the Spirit class have a few of the ‘inside with picture window 4K ) cabins that have sofa and upper. Also some premium interior cabins on Mardi Gras. EM
  19. I couldn’t tell from pics if the obstructed OV cabins behind the lifeboats on 4 have the French doors, or the window. I also noted at being 10 feet wider, she is too wide for the original locks of the Panama Canal. She also doesn’t appear to have that secret passage on deck 3 in the bow, around the theater. I would love to do a cruise on her, but I’m not downunder and don’t know f I want to do Alaska again. It’s the travel to the jumping off point that is the problem. EM
  20. AIDA it’s would be a good size to do the itineraries Pacific Princess used to do. however, she is limited in number of balconies. EM
  21. When asking about a specific cabin or ship, it is best and faster to ask on the board here for that cruise line or ship. Can I assume you are asking about Royal’s Adventure of the .seas? EM
  22. Is there talking involved? Presumably you would be logged in separately and the proctors might be hearing the person on the other computer…
  23. Yes, they are a bit larger, but that difference is in length (5’) and breadth (10’ wider). They have the same number of decks. EM
  24. Chef’s Table is on pause due to staffing shortages. EM
