We are doing Singapore to Los Angeles in October of this year. For you though, our 9 days at sea between Tokyo and Honolulu would seem like Maximum security prison.😀 We look at it as only 1 15hr plane trip. We are still scheduled for Lahaina but know that's not going to happen. Pride is in Kahalui so I'm hoping for Nawiliwili. The Coral could fit.

I really like my Turkish Pistachio nuts and get them from a company online, Nuts on the net. However I hate customs issues more than anything. I planned on bringing a 5lb bag ( 40 day cruise) of roasted, salted in the shell nuts, sealed from the dealer. I've read different views and trying to make up my mind. If I decide to not pack them, I would declare them, any good recommendations on where I might buy some in the Sydney CBD. Mahalo

We were on that cruise, the only reason we stopped was to reprovision. The port area got over run very quickly.

We got the email for our March 31st cruise medallion shipping on the 13th and got them at our Long Beach place on the 16th. Must've been lucky.

From my email that sad it was shipped, till delivery was 3 days. Ours left Carson, to Los Angeles sorting facility to delivery on a Saturday night in Long Beach.

The few emails I've mass sent to Princess higher ups that have been acted on have been all from Princess Support team reps. I've called them back and have 2 that I now call for "help" when I need it. I've had a couple very positive results from skipping the emails and calling one of the reps directly. Good contact to have.

We were on a B2B where we had the "enhanced or new" $60 a day and on the other the old $50 a day Plus. On the second, we only activated my wifes and used it to order food and drinks. We were only charged one $14.99 fee.

We always have gotten a table for 2 but you have to be realistic. Can you get 2 lounge chairs poolside at 11am on a Feb carib cruise. Same for dining room. Early dining is 5-5;20 and those tables don't turn until around 6:40. I always talk to the Head Waiter or Maitre D, tell them what we'd like table wise and be open to basically 1st or 2nd seating.

I've had to replace a battery on a 14 day B2B, but didn't have to on a 28 day or a 26 day B2B. What's the longest you've had one last?

Got our email 17 days before sailing. This is going to be great from what I've read on another thread. We had our Medallions shipped to our place in Long Beach and it says they shipped from Carson. It's about a 10 minute drive to Carson for us. Can't wait to see what route it takes.

We used Aqua Cars in September. Driver met us right outside bag claim. We were very satisfied. Great driver who was very informative about surroundings on drive and about things to do in and around Southampton. Will use them again.

Here I'm thinking I've come up with a surprise for my animal loving wife. I booked a ship tour to Lone Pine and was contemplating alternative transportation to stay longer and enjoy more of the encounters. I've already booked the pictures with the Koala option and wanted to get there early to do the hold a Koala experience. I brought it up just seeing if she'd be excited and she said the last thing she'd do was hold a Koala as she did this as a young girl at San Diego Zoo and it peed on her. She said she was traumatized and wasn't going to get near one. Guess I'm looking for something else to do in Brisbane.😆

You forgot Long Beach, the jewel of SoCal. Great airport and close to San Pedro. Another consideration is if you plan on coming in a few days early San Fran has more attractions. Just stay away from downtown. If you plan on cutting it close, I'd definitely chose Los Angeles as weather delays can build quickly in San Francisco.

Happened first day ( actually 3rd ) of a 26 day cruise and didn't report it. Figure live and learn and if we didn't get anything didn't want to be pissed off. On one of our first cruises on HAL, my wifes dress got burned from the sparklers durning the baked Alaska parade. We didn't even have to ask, we got a claim form for her dress and a bunch of OBC. The "good Ole Days" of customer service.
