  1. Had to prepay in AUD. Had gift cards and was unable to use them and had to use CC.
  2. We will be on a B2B cruise starting with a 10day Queensland, followed by a 30day Transpacific that ends in Vancouver. When does the folio switch from AUD to USD? I'll have Princess gift cards to put onto my account and would like to have them credited in USD. I know I can just wait till long gone from Australia/NZ and I'm sure folio will be in USD. Any idea if folio will close out after first cruise due to conversion to USD on the second? We're covered in that our CC doesn't charge for international fees.
  3. Our hotel has a $62aud pre pay taxi fare available. Please post what you find. After a 15hr flight might be a little fuzzy and a pre planned pick up might be a good thing.
  4. If you have one of the 2 packages, you can order from the Oceans Now menu on the app. You can google "Oceans Now Menu" to get an idea of what's available. We've had leftover OBC and ordered items from the Crown Grill to see how it would be delivered. As stated above, the food arrived warm but not hot. If you don't have a package, then it's a $5 charge to order from "room service" over the phone. I have no idea what that menu is.
  5. Ha, my wife uses that excuse to have me do the laundry. I get up to walk and exercise early and the laundry fits into breaks in that schedule. She gets a load of warm laundry dumped on her as her wake up call.😀
  6. The other thing we've found handy is a fold up hamper from the Dollar store. It fits in the outside zipper pouch of our suitcase.
  7. I know when I"ve applied cards I've gotten from my Barclays Princess card, I've gotten a check back.
  8. Or to Mt Saint Michel. If you can stand a 3hr bus ride both ways with 1 stop, it's a beautiful place. Unfortunately we got the "I'm French, so I don't need to be politically correct" tour guide. Thankfully I had cell reception and watched You Tube videos for the ride back😀
  9. So the second biggest shout out after "Bring on Lawrence Welk and his band" will be "Man OverBoard"😀
  10. I could watch that game with the ole Jer in disgust over and over. Love the Pack now that the wacked out dark room anti-vax alien believer is gone!! Go Packers! Of course Da Raida's will rise again😀
  11. We did 28days on the Crown in March. We carry a universal plug kit. We plug in to the plug under the bed and run multi plug extension cords to each side of the bed. My BiPap plugs in on my side. Your Cpap machine is most likely a dual voltage machine. I've also used an extension cord and duct tape on the floor to fix the cord to the carpet. Way prefer the plug under the bed. For your backs sake, I hope they change out the mattress's .
  12. Great News. Just set up by selecting bridge Cam and use Firestick remote? Mahalo
  13. We cut the cord and went with Youtube TV as we commute between Honolulu and Long Beach. When we has Spectrum that did work good for us.
  14. This is where i'd take their stuff to them and say, "It looks like you forgot some of your things". Be great just to hear their reply.
  15. Mahalo for all the replies. We usually like to ride up top. Both of have a lot of crossings between the Hawaiian Islands on small boats. Me fishing, she sailing. Guess my biggest complaint with tendering is the lines to come back to the ship. We'll go early, she can shop and it's never to early for a beer. Sounds like Arlie is where we'll get off, Yorkey can be a ship staycation.
  16. We’ll be on the Majestic for 40days starting in Sydney and finishing in Vancouver. Wife can take only so much MSNBC . We’ve streamed Netflix, YouTube TV on our laptops and have connected them to the room TV. Just wondering if a firestick will work on the Majestic and if we’d be able to stream our local news from Hawaii or network news stations( not FOX ). I’m thinking she’d use Hulu for her news programming. Mahalo
  17. We are on a 10day Queensland cruise and have something planned in Brisbane and a GBR tour out of Port Douglas. Not too interested in what these 2ports have to offer so here’s my question. Wife she needs to get “stuff” for Grandkids, I need hubby day care at bar while she’s doing her thing. I’ve read both of these ports are LONG” tender rides so which should we do? Mahalo
  18. I was able to stream Youtube TV across the Atlantic with Starlink and did OK in South Pacific using old Internet.
  19. Are you booked with a TA or directly with Princess? TA gotta do it through them.
  20. What I saw on our last cruise was the barstool hogs. 2 would sit at each end of the 6 stool section at the pool bar and put towels on the 4 inside seats folded like cushions. 2 or more would be there all day hogging all the stools, while others did come and go, but it was "their" seats. They prob needed the towels for their rears.
  21. Looks like study hall and the procter didn't show so ditch, just make sure to come back and get your books.
  22. Caribe deck covered balcony rooms, fully covered are C232-C310, and C419-C502, the non corner bump out cabins. Dolphin, D206-D309 and a ccombo of mini's and balcony D624-D724. Aloha 312-623. The Caribe deck balconies that are larger and partially covered are C312-C412.
  23. I've always had our coffees fixed in cruise ships cups at the IC and had to transfer them to my own mugs. Sometimes they'd do it and sometimes I've had to do it. Won't drink the paint stripper from the buffet. Haven't tried the new coffee.
