  1. He needs to establish his own account by registering his email along with a separate phone number from the one you used on your account. The email address will then be verified from the separate phone number. It then becomes a valid account and he'll be able to purchase his own cards.
  2. April the Majestic sails a 30+ day cruise ending up on the west coast to start the Alaska season. Maybe USD would be good so crewmember is not left holding too much AUD at end of Australia season.
  3. One is the loneliest number that there ever was. One set of whatever is offered is all you'll get. Pretty Sad.
  4. We are only at 200 days but cruise Princess for the experience rather than the Loyalty benefits. The laundry service has ruined pants that were sent in just for pressing so we don't bother with the "free" laundry anymore. We do like the self laundry so that's a Princess plus. The priority tender service is a nice perk and my wife likes the 10% off in the boutiques. Getting a little back on ship excursions is nice, but we tend to book our own excursions. We have over 100 days on the books coming up and booked for the itineraries. Just like you, Princess provides the experience we enjoy.
  5. I checked my account and CG is $63.00 for our SYD-SYD cruise and 2 days later it's $39.00 for our SYD-YVR leg. Both on the Majestic next year. Our May 2025 cruises on the Emerald also show the $39.00 price. Think the crack IT dept is messed up again.
  6. Mahalo!! I did a test reservation for SD on the 2nd day of our cruise leaving SYD for YVR and the fee was in USD. Answered, all's good. I'll hold the cards till we leave on that leg.
  7. We will be sailing a 10days Queensland followed by a 30day Transpacific form Syd to Yvr. Confused when the onboard currency will change over from AUD to USD. We have cards from AARP as well as Princess Credit card to add as OBC. In previous B2B our folio has carried over and not cashed out after 1st leg. I've read about the exchange rate converting on a non favorable rate. I would think the best thing to do is to deposit the cards into our account later in the cruise as to avoid the conversion. I could see how depositing them early would cause 2 conversions and there's no way I'd trust Princess to get it right. Anyone have experience that can advise. Calling Princess would be a waste of time.
  8. Then it's time to lockdown those specialty dining res now. 2024 or 2025?, our Oct 2024 cruise from Singapore still has $39 price.
  9. I see your're looking at the Majestic. Is the cruise you are quoting out of Sydney. These prices are in AUD. I check this our Syd cruise to our Singapore cruise and Crown was still $39.00. I "believe" this is the BIG difference.
  10. Saved many years in an account my wife or money manager didn't know about and are now doing 30+ day cruises checking off our bucket list. Every savings counts!!
  11. Valid accounts is the key word here. It;s actually a valid Email, confirmed with a phone number. We do get 15 a month, Have been for awhile.
  12. I just don't want to get stuck with too many cards if we cancel. I"ll get up to 15 the month before the final then the rest the month due. I try to get them to my TA in enough time.
  13. I just paid 15K in gift cards. TA not always to happy with having to input them all, but it saved us $1200.00. The way to go. 10% was better, but I'll still take the 8%.
  14. We too are doing Syd-Yvr in April 2024, but on the Majestic. We got Moorea substituted for Kona due to "port congestion" in Hnl. Who knows the real reason, Celebrity will be there on the 1st and not sail on the 2nd till after we've come and gone. We were supposed to be in Hnl on the 1st and Kona on the 2nd. I'll ake Moorea over Kona anyday and only need the one day in Hnl to go home and do some chores😀
  15. We want to go to the Omaka Aviation heritage centre.
  16. We booked this for April as a way to get to Omaka. The rules section cracked me up about kicking off intoxicated riders and the mandatory clean up fee. We're looking at the Museum and 2-3 breweries. Mahalo for the review.
  17. His name come up on a lot of favorable reviews. Which of his tours did you do?
  18. Any good recommendations? We don't like ship big bus tours. How big are the tunnels? I'm 6'1" and 215 not claustrophobic but also don't like to be squeezed in. Mahalo
  19. The only complaint we had was half of the welds on the sofa were broken and had been repaired once before. Hope they replaced it. Room steward did a bush fix and used zip ties to secure it. A little rust here and there, a elevator down now and then, nothing major in 26 days aboard.
  20. Signed up through Viator for a tour in Thailand and was required to provide passport info.
  21. We were waiting for 2026 until we saw the 32 day Singapore to LA cruise in Oct 2024. Too good to pass up, only have to fly one way. Fly 15 hrs oneway get off ship and 15 minutes later we're back at our Long Beach condo.
  22. The Outstanding Crew Self Laundry Itineraries Longer Cruises Lack Of Kids( 2 above take care of that) Peaceful enjoyment
  23. Used app to order 8 beers at a time to our room, have to keep the refer stocked!
  24. On he Regal in October, I could stream shows from YouTubeTV.
  25. Yehootu

    Koh Samui

Just booked him for our 10/24 visit. I liked in the reviews, "didn't see another cruise ship passenger"
