  1. That sounds like a PhD dissertation with the combined metric and English measures.
  2. It can get windy when underway if winds are just right, especially at the way back. But overall, we've had more good than bad.
  3. Points will be credited on first cruise once over18 but it does not say status will be given. Having gone through this, status was not granted until after first cruise. Second cruise after 18 she had status. In any case, their terms when they changed the program was those with enough points would get status at 18 without having to take a trip yet they couldn't get that right.
  4. Which side do you want? It can be either. I've tracked this for a few years, not lately, but it was 2/3-3/4 port side at dock. At the end of the day, to us, not really a big deal.
  5. Depends what you like to do. There are some things on the island at night, but not much. Main is music by main beach.
  6. Never heard of Coco Bay. Maybe I haven't been on enough cruises.
  7. It can vary with being busy.
  8. They had it at least once last October on Mera.
  9. Haven service generally not that good and very inconsistent.
  10. All falling for the weekly cutback trap. Champagne ran more than a week, hash brown a bit long, now on a weekly cutback to divert threads from previous cutback.
  11. As far as Platinum, watch out. Rules changed like seven years ago. It used to be if you had a kid that had sailed a lot under 18 those points would then make them whatever matching level at age 18. It then changed that they had to sail once after turning 18 but those already at a certain level before program change were supposed to be grandfathered in. However, programming never put in place and Lats folks clueless.
  12. Beat me to it for the extra 'S' unless they are too old.
  13. If I had a choice between a 800 calorie Crumb'l vs limited edition double Big Mac at 780 calories, Mac wins. I've already had five, for my convenience, of course.
  14. Those look like what we call 'windmill' cookies.
  15. Crumbl's - that equates to a deposit on a cruise.
  16. Note ymmv with what actually happens. The in room food is pretty consistent with pictures above. In our experience, the snacks, even when requested, can vary widely. Depending on suite level, OS and higher get booze in bottles in room plus water and soda. If you are on deck 12, those are newer suites and near pool, buffet, and one deck up to bar and open forward deck. P.s. They won't bring drinks to room under drink package.
  17. Think last time I recall we had window seats in a mdr was lunch on Spirit back in 2008 ironically at Windows Dining Room. Whether in Haven restaurant or other, we never ask for window seats even though preferred. I like to see where they'll seat us. I guess our profile must be marked not by windows. Maybe they found that on my airline preference that I like an aisle.
  18. We've had Haven cards with high lats level for long time. No flashing anything, just give card when asked going into restaurant. I guess the benefit must be getting a seat near doors to kitchen as that seems to be the pattern for us.
  19. Having worked in the provider side, you'd be surprised how much is par baked, frozen, shipped, then baked to finish. Actually taste quite fresh.
  20. Who knows. They removed lounge on Star and Dawn and replaced with rooms. I'm sure they've made more money on the rooms than people sipping coffee.
  21. Sounds like a new thing. Trying to figure out other than maybe less drinking how this cuts costs.
  22. We had an H2 on Escape and probably one of best rooms ever. Understand that you are looking at H3. It is windy while underway. Sitting not so bad as below railing height. We were in Bermuda so in port for 2.5 days so wind not an issue there. Yes, you get three bottles, in room soda, in room sparkling or still water. Supposed to be one bottle of champagne but they cheap out with sparkling.
