We were disappointed with the quality of steaks at Fine Cut. In my opinion, it was not worth the extra charge. Eden was outstanding in terms of food and service. We also enjoyed the live music from above.

You forgot to mention the neighbor next door leaning over their balcony and peering into your cabin.

There are a couple of posters who will give their opinion on any topic even if they have no direct experience or knowledge. One of them was on my cruise and asked a crew member to go to another bar to get them a glass of their favorite wine. I wanted to tell that individual and friend to get off their A's and walk there themselves.

We are also boarding on Sunday. Looking forward to this weekend. We prefer breakfast in Blu as we like the omelettes made to order and the warm food options. I order a plate of fresh berries and or the cheese/berry plate. Sadly, no views in Blu on the Edge class ships like we get in the S-class.

The link does not appear to be from an Edge Class ship as the MDR menus do not look familiar. Am I correct? Thank you for posting.

Thank you for posting the menus for Eden Cafe. You are correct with the hard close. Got there 5 minutes late each time and it was closed. Eden Restaurant was outstanding. So good, we went there twice. The second time, we lucked out with a cancellation.

I loved the ships designed by the Chandris Group. Stylish and classy in a traditional sense. The woodworking was so special. My favorite was the Century.

If you have mobility issues, that could be a factor as it is a long walk to the elevators. However, great views of the wake and a true balcony.

Yes, that should be a good location. We have stayed on that floor and were pleased.

The key in picking a room on Beyond is getting a quiet room. When we were on the Beyond, many people were complaining about banging sounds that kept them up at night. Do your homework.

Very similar to my perspective. What I liked were the variety of shows and being able to ice skate. Also, the group dance parties in which people did participate. The noise level got to me as well and all of the kids running around out of control. Kids would get on the elevators and push every floor button. Dishes left on the stairs. It got so bad that the captain ordered all children back to their rooms for an announcement. That brought us back to Celebrity.

It is confusing. I sailed in Aqua and there is no assigned time for its restaurant, Blu. However, I have been given a time to eat in the MDR. Just a glitch in the system. You show up where you want to dine for the evening at the time of your choosing and that is it.

The cut off time for SWA was 6 pm. Check for updated information when you cruise.

You are correct. We were on Beyond and thought we had a reservation. We were told that there were no reservations and to just show up. Of course, if you arrive at the same time, there is a good chance you will get the same area of then dining room. It was confusing as I spent time making reservations to no avail.

Have a good time on Royal. I have been sailing on Celebrity for years but miss the energy level on the Royal ships where we started cruising. On a couple of Celebrity cruises, it was like a senior center. Relaxing but very quiet. Too quiet if you get my drift.

There is no longer any Priority check-in. No free laundry service either in Concierge. The binoculars are useless as poor quality. Key is the location and the pricing.

You are not able to check your own luggage until 2 hours prior to your flight's departure. But if you used the Luggage Valet, you will not see your luggage until you arrive at your final destination. All is taken care of. Well worth it.

If you can carry the 15 pounds on the ship, you should be fine. Don't expect to drop it off at the pier and find it with your luggage. They have not been checking water lately.

I suspect that staffing issues may play a factor. On the Beyond, they appeared to be short of staff in Blu. That may be the reason why we were not able to order off the MDR except for the Classic menu i.e. cocktail shrimp, French onion soup, salmon, sirloin steak, chicken, etc.

Unfortunately, this does happen. Entitlement. I have met these guests who introduce themselves as being double zeniths. Who cares except them?

The shows were at 7:30 and 9:30 pm in the main theater. There were soloists, duos, party band and house band at locations such as the Grand Plaza and Edenl.

Do your homework choosing a room on Beyond. There are a number of rooms that have issues with noise. In any case, bring ear plugs on that ship.
