Any word on what stores are replacing these?

Thanks I did put his info in on his app. We don't have any special early arrival. I don't see that this is available yet...Is that correct? When we did SL I got a very early time which was great. Guess we'll see what happens!

When I first open app it says, "You've hit a snag". Then it jumps to a message "Ahoy Sailor Your Voyage is being booked but your lady ship and her corresponding app are still being perfected. Check back closer to your sail date, etc. Then the Go to Account Settings Button shows and I can fill in all my info, but not my husband's as second sailor. I guess that's my answer.

I don't remember having difficulty inserting all pertinent info to my account on my SL cruise..Just booked BL and had quite a few problems w initial error message etc. I can't seem to get to the place to insert husbands passport etc..I was just able to put in his name address, etc. Uninstalled and reinstalled app..did not help.. Has anyone else recently encountered problems on the app? I will call tomorrow to straighten things out.

We cruised on SL in June and are booking BL for next Feb. Before doing so though, I wanted to ask: (see attached) 1. I read somewhere that the lifeboats will be "brought in" to make ship a bit narrower for Panama Canal trips. Would this affect the view looking down from the TR Sea Terrace cabins on Deck 12? 2. Would people in cabin 12067z be looking at the TR Sea Terrace cabins near it? For example, 12027 thru 12090z? 3. Are the embarkation times for BL handled the same way as SL? (I think if you booked sooner than later you got earlier embarkation times)? Thanks so much!

We are close to booking a Feb 2024 cruise. I came across lots of info and pics about sargassum problems at the various ports in Feb. 2023 which concerns me. I had read that sargassum usually comes later in the year. Am I overreacting???

The search for our next VV cruise begins...I am considering Brilliant Lady in 3/24, but want to be sure I am not missing something about this ship/itinerary/date before I book. Input appreciated.

Cruised for the first time on VV a few weeks ago in a Sea Terrace, but never smelled cigs or pot on balcony. Same on many other cruises I've taken.

Saw Ryan at Extra Virgin and mentioned your recommendation. He said to say Hi to you. Nice guy. We got back on 6/14 so I'm just getting caught up on things. Scarlet Lady June 9th trip... It seemed that many of the waitstaff in various restaurants were rather new and unfamiliar with the menu, etc. That being said.....if we did run into any problems with food or drinks they were taken care of very quickly. We had a minor drink problem in Extra Virgin. Our waiter, Manov, and the manager solved it promptly and came back a few times to ask if everything was ok. Nice. Also, I think our experiences in Gunbae and Test Kitchen would have been much better if we had different waiters. Seems that other diners in Gunbae were laughing alot and having a great time....We had to ask our waiter if we could play the Gunbae game. After asking twice he played it with us, but without much enthusiasm. We definitely want to do both of these again on our next VV cruise.

Yes we did...Got dressed up in red and really enjoyed those. Thinking of Brilliant Lady next.

Does anyone know how that $600 is split up? It just says $600. I had purchased an extra $300 to get $50 extra on our cruise last week. When we boarded it showed this in our Add Ons (I kept a screenshot.) However, it never got put in our Wallet. I called Sailor Services and they said that my credit card was declined which I found out was untrue. I checked when I got home and found that I was never billed for the extra $300/$50. In this case it wasn't a problem since we didn't need the extra monies. However, I am perplexed how this occurred. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I managed to stay up the night before the 45 day mark. Although events showed earlier that evening I could not book these until around 11:45 PM or so.

Loved Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady cruise….Already thinking about next one! Bought placeholder w/perks onboard. Although we had 2 GPS going, we must have missed something and ended up not going through 395 Miami Tunnel. No traffic from Land O Lakes to that point, but really took forever to get to terminal. Next time will consider flying from Tampa to Miami. Did fine exiting the ship around 8:30 AM on a Wednesday thru tunnel. Embarkation Day – had a 1:45 time assigned. Got to ship around 1 pm and got on ship exactly at 1:45…No leeway in boarding times at that time of day. Sat down immediately on entering ship and booked every event we wanted. Had previously booked all dining at around 11:30 PM, the night before 45 day booking window opened. Got to cabin in aft of ship and found it to be efficient with App use and places to store things. Had problem with safe twice. Turned out it needed to have a new battery installed. Our steward was OK..Just a Hi in the hallway which as fine with us. We really didn’t need much. Cleaning, water, etc taken care of in the morning promptly. Pushed button on app for any extras we needed in afternoon/evening like towels, ice, water. Had a great time and did not miss the usual all inclusive drink package which was surprising. Got $300 bar tab and $300 loot w/booking promo. We used about $400 in drinks and ended up using the remaining $200 in loot for souvenirs, in casino (can use loot, but only can cash out winnings…do not get loot back. Had difficulty getting same light beers at various bars. Liked Amstel Light, but not available everywhere. No mojitos since there was no mint available. Martinis not too good. Husband sent a few back. Got one at Extra Virgin that was about 1/3 glass full and way too much vermouth. Waiter and manager very apologetic. Manager gave us a new martini filled almost to the top. Husband gave quality of that one about a 7 out of 10. Good enough! Loved the frozen and regular margaritas at most restaurants and bars. Didn’t get to see Ships in the Night or Ship Show….Just too tired. Scarlet Night was moved to Red Room which was very disappointing, but we decided to not go and wait til our next VV to do that event by pool. Loved Duel Reality, Untitled Dance Party Thing, Loteria Bingo, Bingo with the Diva.(Carlos is amazing..Prizes from about $500 to $2,200 (4 games). He did a Liza Minelli skit which we loved), Great margaritas and shots included in Loteria cost ($40). Main con with the cruise was the layout of the ship. Felt like we were always walking in circles due to the left/right of ship configuration and going to 7 to get to 6 sometimes, etc. After 5 nights on ship, we still felt like we were getting lost. Room service ordered in wee hours of morning and delivered about 45 minutes later. Food hot and good. Favorite Bar…On the Rocks. Loved the hammock, shower, and bedside table in cabin that can be turned over to use on balcony to give one more room to eat, etc. My eating preferences were Extra Virgin and The Wake. Foodie husband loved Test Kitchen, Pink Agave. Great pizza, hot dogs in Social Club just OK. Spent less time at pool than we usually do on other cruiseships. Not much seating around pool and pool is ridiculously small. Did a lot more onboard on sea days than we usually do and more time on balcony. Puerto Plata – Took free trolley from ship to walk through shops (not much there) to pool/lazy river…Wonderful with lots of seating areas. Drinks were a bit weak…..$14 for a pina colada - $4 for a bottle of water. Nice day. Bimini…Great time poolside with wonderful DJ & Happenings Cast. Really nice beach. Bar service very slow. Didn’t care for curry and other food. Loved the rum cake! Thanks for all the help you all gave me before this cruise. Any questions, just ask.

Now that we're back from first VV cruise, have to say, Carlos....We've seen numerous Divas in our lives, but hands down, Carlos was the best...She did Liza Minelli, NY, NY and we were shocked at her performance...Wonderful!

Will do report asap but loved it..except for one crappy martini and no mint for mojitos everything went smoothly.

Uh oh....Really don't like to book and then not feel up to doing them, especially after a late night!

If I book tequila, loteria, etc that I pay for out of my loot, do I lose that loot if we do not attend?

I know I could never drink all the drinks at the tequila and similar events...is it possible for hubby and I to share or if not can I attend and bring or order wine?

Have to say that I really am getting nervous about the dinner times and other mishaps that many people are posting about regarding recent SL cruises. Trying to remain positive! I'm sure there will be wonderful moments as well, but I can't help but think of our MSC Meraviglia cruise last year and an NCL trip a few years ago. Your review was wonderful....What date did you return? The current SL cruise does not return until 6/9 when we board. Have to say, I think you were a champ about your attitude with the various mishaps on your cruise. I've been cruising for many years and definitely understand about things happening and not sweating the small stuff, but you did seem to have quite a few things occur that I would have been extremely unhappy about.
