We are having a great time reading your posts. I share your stories with The Boss and we have a chuckle. We look forward to your posts. We are sea-day lovers. It allows TB to get her steps in around the ship or swim for a hour while I supervise and coach her from the third seat from the right at the pool bar. Continue to a great cruise. Z and TB

Rachel: I am so glad you got to experience a piece of the Camino De Santiago and sorry you were not able to see the interior of the cathedral. I hear that it is breath taking and to experience the botafumeiro would be a lifetime highlight. For most of my adult life, I have wanted to experience the Camino, but work got in the way and now I think I’m a little too far over the hill to do it. We hope to cruise one day on a similar cruise as this one so we can also experience the same. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Z and TB

As you know, good connectivity is an issue on most cruises. We experienced the same lack of connectivity during our recent Baltic cruise. I found that I could post more easily when in port by getting off airplane mode and posting from my cell phone. My cell provider allowed us free internet and texting from the various ports we visited. Have a wonderful cruise! Z and TB

Ok. Before this thread disappears, I have one last mini rant. What is up with the Regent TP? It is not luxury nor is it Regent-like. It breaks apart, it is abrasive, and it is cheaper than a two cent stamp. I suffered with it and I now have anxiety symptoms for usage. I feel as if I need to see my therapist for having TP PTSD. Thank goodness I am already medicated for that. Z and TB

You won’t really know until you are onboard and speak with Destinations personnel, although someone can chime in stating past experience. I cannot speak for your specific cruise, but we were offered a city tour with drop off at the airport during our recent cruise which ended up in Stockholm. This additional tour was offered for a fee. We have also had similar offers in past Regent cruises, some with a fee and some without. Hope this helps. Z and TB

Oh no!!!! That is a shame because we are on the Aug 24 transatlantic going west. I would love to hang out with George. From everything I’ve read about him, he seems to be a great guy. Z and TB

I went to the docs on Thursday and am feeling better. Thanks for asking. Currently, we are on the Grandeur for its transatlantic cruise. But, it is so far away that you never know if we will keep it or change to something else. After the rough return home, I am a little gun shy and would not mind a cruise with simpler travel logistics. Z and TB
