  1. Yes it is. Mine shows the right amount, but in the detail of the cruise it’s shows it as half the amount for 2. Probably worth giving them a ring. I got through pretty quickly & got a very helpful agent.
  2. The $300 OBC in the Essentials package is Shorex OBC so can only be used for Shore excursions - it’s $150 per person, so $300 in total. In your account it will show as $150 OBC times 2.
  3. I had paid for the Indulgence Package upfront via my TA. I didn’t use OBC to buy it. That meant I was using the Shorex OBC that I had already bought to pay for my excursions
  4. Further to my comment above, I just rang Azamara and was able to use Shorex OBC that’s part of an Indulgence package for our cruise in February to pay for already booked excursions.
  5. I too rang to pay for already booked excursions using Shorex OBC which is part of the Indulgence package for our February cruise. Phone was answered within 5 minutes and I spoke to a very helpful US agent. Got it all sorted very quickly and was able to check that my remaining OBC is general OBC that can be used for anything. The only slight hitch was that I was in my account when I rang and had to sign out as she was not able to access it at the same time as me. Once she had sorted it all out she got me to sign in again so she could make sure I could see that everything was paid for and how much OBC I have left.
  6. I saw that, but it makes no mention of Shore Excursion OBC bought & paid for as part of an Essentials package
  7. TAs in the UK don’t generally provide refunds, or refundable OBC.
  8. Just had a look and I also found that the January search tab didn’t pull up the January 4 Journey cruise, but I can’t see why.
  9. Roll calls are listed by the date of their last post, so to keep a roll call on the first page, keep posting to it!
  10. All Azamara ships are about the same age - all ‘R class’.
  11. So the Captain did say what caused the problem.
  12. They work with local companies in whichever port they are in
  13. What a great, and refreshing, attitude - quite agree with you.
  14. And another article https://www.ttgmedia.com/news/carol-cabezas-stands-down-as-president-of-azamara-amid-leadership-shake-up-43238

  16. We had a white night on both our Atlantic cruises
  17. Once you have completed the passenger information you should get a page which shows the cabin type & has a little paper &pencil icon. Click on that & there’s the option to choose your cabin, but it doesn’t give you all the available cabins, that’s why it’s a good idea to ring them
  18. Best bet is to give them a ring to see what’s available as their booking engine only gives you some of what’s available. There are deck plans on the website so you can see where cabins are.
  19. Azamara succeeds in ‘walk right in’ in the MDR most of the topime, but on occasion we’ve waited for 20-30 minutes
  20. As there are only about 700 passengers max boarding is straightforward. Embarkation starts from 2pm they(say on their website). Just turn up and go to Priority Boarding if you’re in a Verandah plus.
  21. 1) You’re right that you wouldn’t get any reciprocal perks. 2) Drinks are all day and include soft drinks, cocktails, plain & sparkling water and speciality coffees. There is a range of cocktails (and mocktails) on the included list, but you can ask them to make any cocktail with the included spirits. 3) The showers are OK. They are on the small side but my husband is 6ft and not slim and manages fine. The shower curtains don’t stick to you as they’ve been replaced with heavy curtains 4) Verandah plus are ordinary Verandah cabins but with some extra perks such as a bottle of spirits in your room, a couple of meals in the speciality restaurant, a free bag of laundry per cruise week. 5) we’ve never had a problem with the stability - but if you think you might have a problem go for midships and low down.
  22. That’s pre the split from RCCL. Azamaraclubcruises has not been Azamara’s website for a long time. Your TA needs to improve their knowledge of what they’re selling.
