We use one for undies,socks white tees Second one for casuals we can afford to lose . We hand wash swim suits and delicates in the sink..drip dry in shower!
no issues, no losses..but they do use very HOT WATER.. and big commercial dryers....no drip dry option.
For us, it would include other factors..not just Sunroom vs True Balc. That's a personal taste debate that will never end..We enjoy both so never a deal breaker.

The SS balconies are large..but maybe not very deep..we never went out on ours on BEYOND.
thats where I found the EDGE ART BOOK.. for pax to take with them, and some nice magazines and puzzle books.. No longer in use..they did put some shelves somewhere.
The over priced & little used men's shop or misplaced Tiffanys would make a cute self serve coffee/tea/ reading spot..
Assuming/ hoping X honors our All In booking with the Classic package..on our 3 booked cruises.
I like the special teas, and a few after dinner drinks per cruise... dh drinks special coffees, basic beer, wine and Scotch. We bring our own water and 2 btls of wine...
The new pricing choices are not to our liking....hope it will change.

The creaking alone would be a "never again" for BEYOND for us, although we lucked out on our SS cruise! Takes us awhile to save up..too much uncertainty would ruin the anticipation
We are nervous about our upcoming Ascent cruise in an IV rm..but hoping it will be OK. Not much we can do.now.
We have one more E class cruise booked on APEX ...but have not heard of any creaking issues. After that we will go back to S Class.. with real balconies!

If OP here can show TA messed up...that entity should make the customer whole if it cannot be fix with the cruise line....quickly!.
If X messed up, then TA should be aggressive in getting it fixed!
Computer glitch? or someone failed to.update? Always easy to blame the robots!
Not sure how it can be "oversold" ..even with a crappy IT set up!
Those who were cancelled should get a chance to resurrect the cancelled res if this did not already destroy their vacation plans.. Not like this is a 5 day Bahamas cruise that can be booked elsewhere!
we had an issue with this on Inf out of Ca. we rebooked to get the disc but then it triggered a local tax..we were still in port ...took several days to resolve..
we book specialty dining ahead with the discount to get the slots we prefer On board, we add another restaurant and a few lunches and use the disc without issues!
we are in the US & always book directly with an X rep..hopefully call is recorded..we wait for the Confirmation e mail to come through while on the tel.. usually it works ok. And we save all susequent conf..like when our OBC or perks are fully listed..
we book the cabin we prefer, never bid on upgrades or make changes if at all possible. The more a res is tinkered with, greater chances are of what happened to OP.
