As mentioned, we tried Oasis. in a regular balc cabin..Our adult dtr and son in law coincidentally booked same week..She like us did not love it...he liked the active stuff..flo rider, zip..etc His camera was stolen at a game show, never recovered. Even with required pre- made res there were long lines, the divers were amateurish, skating was like local mall show...and there were crowds everywhere. Outside deck had very little shade. Husb and I ditched the huge mdr early on..slow service of un-memorable food. No real wine service. Even the specialty dining was not great.. Had a dress up big birthday dinner in CHOPS for my husb... Waiter was untrained and tried to sell us a wine aerator just as the cake was brought out..Ugh! The deli everyone touted for sandwiches was revolting... smelled like wet dog from mops and table cleaning rags used. The onboard shopping was like local mall..mostly low end. Best parts were the on water Cabana rental with service and upgraded lunch at Labadee, adult huge "hot tub" area aft and best of all...DIsembarking ! Sad that this company now controls X 100%...

that would normally be a very nice cabin choice .....SV middle. We have been in a simIlar location on EDGE for 10 days..with no issues, and have an SV booked on APEX for 2025...We have not heard about any creaking on APEX. Our upcoming ASCENT cabin is AQ Prime, Deck 10..Hoping for the best! No one has posted a list or set pattern for the CREAKY CABINS on Beyond or Ascent, afaik.

My dtr uses her name before marriage 10 + yrs ago ( quite common these days)... Her husb and childen use husb's last name...One child looks like her the other like her husband. All are white. Not sure if she will need paperwork due to name difference if they trvl together, or what if she trvls with the children on her own.?? We can all dance around this but I sense a racial bias...overt or otherwise. Not sure it deserves a free cruise for all.

the move up game was the Royal approach for a long time.. On many roll calls, some of the cruisers obsessed on " the move up fairy".. Big upgrades were offered last minute to D + cruisers at no cost, making other cabins available for sale at market rate. Those who playd the game, discussed all their past upgrades. I recall being at one roll call dinner night before sailaway where someone " got the call" and he went totally nutso! Seems Celeb has refined this to a profitable bid system which adds to the suite population..most of whom paid big bucks! We always pick a room and stick with it!

They should offer a few choices that fit the limits of each package...Happily we are not fussy drinkers so we will manage with our current bookings. We'll bring along 2 btls of wine...just in case they offer nothing! Real issue is the package costs going forward..Nice part about AI resorts is that pretty much is really all included, yet we still get top notch service!

we pre book spa, salon and specialty dining online in the cruise planner for best times and prices. we.never asked the butler for very much other than ice in the afternoon and canapes...same as in reg AQ cabin..which .no longer get canapes

we had one cruise where a religious group had 1 elev each side reserved for manual operation on the sabbath....slowed things down tremendously! another time a huge group had sign interp done at every show and event ...and were the main focus of crew and staff.. one " free" company cruise had drunks 24/7... they had no idea how to conduct themselves...glass was thrown into pool which closed it down other groups had no affect at all Wish they posted a list!

if the unofficial posts about new drink.packages pricing on X are accurate.. we'll be moving on after our already booked X cruises are completed.. After awhile all the changes and upcharges become annoying and expensive! "All in" was easiest for us!

if these are the new plans, it makes our future with X quite easy....Going going, gone! We are already booked on Ascent, 2024 Silhouette 2024 and Apex, 2025, all with grats, Classic alc and Basic wifi... Assuming those res are honored as booked, they will be our last cruises with X, unless things change yet again The new plans are just too pricey and will no longer meet our needs.. We'll see how it goes but glad we did not rush ahead to book XL

midnight buffet on X was indoors..took hrs to set up.. first opened for photos only.. then the buffet.. but too late and folks were not very hungry and many asleep by then.. They then went to an indoor chocoate and dessert buffet..family hour first...then adults only also had a nice daytime breakfast/ brunch buffet in mdr...also discontinurd

received our docs and tags today for Jan 28th cruise... Just paper tags..nothing like the old ones.

This issue has become like a dog chasing its tail..apologies to the dog!

i suspected confusion between RETREAT ( Suite guest) and Thermal suite/ Persian Garden ( aqua class guests or purchase of daily or longer pass) Hope cleared up now!

Sorry, Guess we missed it....several times. Is that where the heated loungers are located or another room. The room with heated loungers was long and narrow and very warm..due to the windows and heat from loungers.. Guess we did not stick around to see the fruited water etc...we'll take a peek in a few weeks and post some pics! Other than the nice locker rm.. we found the Thermal suites area lacking...It is much better on S Class ships!
