BLU was best on BEYOND..had a better view than on EDGE. But it will be an Infinite Veranda cabin which is an interior space with a moving window. We don't mind it but is not an outdoor balcony. Access to thermal suite is included but we were not overly impressed..compared to S Class. A Sunset Veranda would be our choice on any E Class ship...has a real outdoor balcony, is a larger stateroon and has access to 4 included mdrs. Long walk aft but great views!

Above option sounds like a nice idea but seems like too many steps esp with luggage and carryons. If OP arrives as planned..luggage check in should be fine. But getting into the Terminal that early could be an issue. Depends on your arrival time slot. We got 11:30 which was the second available arrival time slot. OP has 2 great cruises planned!

never boring on E Class.. esp with 4 included mdrs. beautiful Solarium, outdoor pool, hot tubs, EDEN (by day and night) , the CLUB, modern shows in state of the art theater, CAFE BACCIO, and Martini Bar area.. Beautiful ships..and not over crowded in the buffet! Maybe with a smaller group it would be easier to enjoy!

It's,for a fee.. but was well worth it.. We book it ahead..usually a sell out. We have done it on EDGE & BEYOND..and are booked for Ascent...Comes with the Art book and other goodies! you can make your own tour but this goes behind the scenes for some dining rm art... I also had an unofficial mini tour of the live plants from one of the gardeners...Not easy gardening at sea!

Sounds like a good plan.. we enjoyed our SV with the 4 mdrs.. Have one booked again on APEX.

It has been quite chilly in SW Fla this season..It was sunny today but so far not a great winter escape! looking forward to our cruise..hope for better weather at sea!

Thanks for your thoughts.. It def sounds like this ship was not a hood fit for your group compared to your experiences on larger ships of ROYAL C ..with central malls, dining options and more lively shows. You might have enjoyed an E Class ship much more! Glad you had a good time anyhow.

Just saw a TV ad for Carnival which is about how they do fun! Not sure what that means?

i suggest the on board excursion that tours the entire ship..All Access ..small group, headphones..time on the Bridge. Lengthy but comprehensive.. Another great tour..if you enjoy the art on board. is the Art and Design tour. both worth every penny!

There are now many similarites with Royal and Celeb.. Started slowly with the X CEO replacement.... LLP who was Royal trained, and the era of Hoppen and Goop .. Now a rapid advance of Modern Mediocrity!

I agree..mostly for the monetary savings. We generally prefer Eastern over Western itins...but for 5 days does it matter? What are the other ports? The orig Coco Cay was beautiful and mostly unspoiled..' tll X/Royal got a bright money making idea! .I would likely stay on the ship that day!

no cursive taught in public school..LI. NY., and no foreign language yet.. 2nd grade . Reading not so much either. Lots of feelings "fiddle faddle!" and time out to breathe... BUT our 7 yr grandson old goes to Stem camp and can build and program a bot! The 4 yr old can build lots of stuff! Different world!

We do get the E+ minutes , but never use them all, and we do not plan on making tel calls in ports..We can e mail a few times with dtr...just to check in. Not fancy but nice! Well behaved children and teens are usually welcomed... While not all that much to do, I think they have a Stem component in the Kids Club, also some indoor archery and daytime stuff in the CLUB, wood brain challenge Puzzles in EDEN during the day.. EDEN cafe for lunch..included movies at the Rooftop area..but not too much on the TV.. family swim hr in the Solararium Le Petite Chef cartoon dinner( extra) if you bring some fav card games..UNO, etc, and their own devices it should be fine..but you know them best! How important are the UNESCO sites to them?

Outdoor deck parties are fun..esp on E class with the Colored lights and outdoor acoustics to spread the sound.. but not sure about the possible playlist.. What is "Metallic attire" ? Is it like the Tin Man? I do have a silver vest and a gray sequin tank top...but no idea?? Most people bring white but metallic..? We'll stop in if the time works!
