the current Solarium pools are dumbed down versions of the original T pools..no minerals or true hydro jets. They are supposed to be at a therapeutic warm..not hot..temp.), . and some have grated seating and some with sprays..all designed for adult use.. the limited exceptions have already led to longer Solarium family hrs.. teen pool parties etc.

keep the Solarium Adults ONLY....except for a small window of time in Alaska when most adults are dining. Children should NEVER be permitted in any hot tubs in the Solarium and other locations.. They being mis-used as heated kiddo pee pools and teen hangouts.. We use the Solarium early.. the water is clean then. No crowds or drooling snorers. We relocate as the din increases!

we rolled out of bed on a Mercury cruise yrs ago.... big storm at night .. Straits of Fla. we were fine but many dishes in the dining rm were broken, and slider doors did not close , so sloshy carpets on main decks.. We were happy to disembark...

Where we live MLK is a school break! Air and hotels are priced higher...no idea abt cruise fares.

times must be tough! that tiny pencil looks like ones at mini golf..guess you have to go to guest rel to have it sharpened! ones we had were nice..they never need shaprening.. regular size length and long lasting... we also have received a variety of pens...see post # 3 we always ask for 2 pens and 2 decks of cards at guest rel for our grandsons.. usually freely given

thanks for the tip about the better tuna at the spa cafe.. I find there is some good food there..used to have the best salmon for lunch! May be discontinued. No more cold cuts pics needed..they make me gag! Ugh! Hope Cabo was fun!

yup.. I posted a very early review of EDGE, and dubbed the walk through as the "CREEPY FOREST". Name kind of stuck awhile. Each one of these walk throughs are awful..esp for folks with vision issues. Folks in scooters go thru like its an obstacle course. Watch Out! We'll be back in BLU on ASCENT and see what we have to walk thru on way to dine..( btw there is another way to get there...taking stairs!)

pretty much. they physically ruined the upstairs lounges. It looked like the underground lair in Phantom of the Opera. It was so creepy..worse than when the EDENITES would spread out over the ship (hate being touched by strangers!) in a later similar type program! The original Cirque shows on X were outstanding ..loved them all! .l After X went on its own not as good . We also disliked some of the overtly sexist skits invoving audience annoyance , and the pseudo sex shop selling massage oils....and other edgy items. That bombed too! and very happy now that the EDEN show has become very entertaining, creative and "unwierd."

I thought it might be. ! When I first saw how they destroyed Summit with the rags and dirty lounge beds that blocked the views I cried.....plus thd creepy "interactors"! Glad that did not last long!

good luck..glad its working out and that you have med coverage.. we always buy sep insurance...for evac med etc..As noted Medicare does not cover and neither does our secondary.

never heard of a share pass. maybe there will be an on board special.. We are booked into AQ Class with thermal suite access included. Truthfully.. we much prefer the thermal suite area on S Class....nicer heated lounge space.. with window views to the sea. Nicer room layouts and offerings . Salt room and hanging chairs on E are wasted space....just our taste.. The locker room on E is very nice!

positive review ..... they were happy with X and said they would book again. There are other threads to air grievances with Xs "Butlergate". Would like to hear more from new X cruisers!
