  1. went to Mary Frances website...lots of nice bees... and TJ Max has a style sim to "the Bee".
  2. Great photos of Rome.. some diff areas than we had on tours...very beautiful! thank you
  3. some tbls for 2 are in a long row esp on E class.. folks to either side may be friendly or one can try to buddy up on a roll call..
  4. Seems like that was a quick maint " time out" for EDGE... ! What, if anything was done inside?
  5. thanks for posting the photos. very nice suite. Hope you'll be able to share some more pics of the Retreat area, Luminae and other public areas. Is your view affected by the life boats? Enjoy your great family cruise!
  6. way too many ways to accrue points and huge number of crossover from Royal to X kills it!
  7. BINGO is more my speed! I am sure there are odds for outcomes as well! Anything we play is just for fun!
  8. hope you enjoy the buffet.. there are few rules but no shorts for dinner is one that is still followed...hopefully
  9. better location than the rooftop garden..maybe it could be improved
  10. I know not to judge food by appearances but that Lasagna looked kind of flat..unless it was meatless! How was the sauce? We stayed at Doubletree last time around for 2 nites pre cruise. It was OK & close to port but othrwise out of the way. We ended up having a lite dinner at the hotel which was suprisingly quite good and hung out with bunch of fellow X cruisers . A Great local spot for breakfast and lunch is a healthy walk away . Rex's Cafe..worth the walk! Unique! check google..link is too darn long! BON VOYAGE! (they should have sea sick pills at guest)
  11. I am sure she is a very competent Captain..kudos to her for breaking through a predominantly male profession. But she is used by X for way too many PROMOS, as are others. .I find it demeaning that they do that! btw there are other X women Captains....Captajn the shuttles to ports..and do a great job!
  12. I am not stressing..but I am opposed to the ping ping ping We have been on E Class ships more than once, and hate to see that nice space disrupted by an activity that belongs elsewhere..sports court! But sure we will manage..
  13. How can they show movies or sports on the screen, or have a musician play at the same time as PB? Seems that area is a primary outdoor space other than the pool..if not in Retreat? we hope it works okay on ASCENT as we plan to spent time up there
  14. PB is very loud... our Community has the main courts located away from homes and a pool area. Another smaller set of cts near homes and other pool area are disruptive with the ping ping sound all day! Not a pleasant sound compared to tennis! any courts on a ship should be on a lower inside area...
  15. yes and not always best locatiins..but sometimes we have been very lucky!l esp early!
  16. Beauitiful Review continues! I looked up Goddess of Mercy ..very interesting entries! Boy that's one fast train
  17. we are happy it's back and will stop in .if we can! those who want the other option..that's good too! Numbers are high due to the Diamond crossover factor, so this may work well for everyone!
  18. looks like you had a great day at Taormina.. when we went we saw a wedding party coming out of the church..all very romantic! We had a lovely lunch there , & spent our money on some amazing sicilian pottery, little pewter donkey carts and other items that represent the area. etc. Sal is mostly Sicilian, so these gifts were much appreciated by family..Only so much stuff we could carry home in our suitcases! The big question is...Did you buy the Bee?
  19. i would pick EQUINOX. Based on Price diff and fact that a port intensive itin does not need the newest ship. There will be fewer guests to disembark at ports. We used to like Century for Europe over larger ships!
