That would be welcome news..Connie is/ was a great ship but aging with no major updates. We would def book a newer ship! Hope this comes to fruition.

Some examples: (all 8 x 10)

We always manage to put a nice album together of diff poses ( in diff outfits) and locations..You have to find the various locations before or after dinner..port stops etc...Maybe upon boarding. .For E Class, they have green screen set up, and a few posing locations around the ship... Not usually in dining rms anymore.. you have to seek them out. We buy prints and an album and folder with ship photo & they usually download the digital. Prices not too bad. Will look into the current sale???? Work with them when you get there.. We have met quite a few interestibg and very helpful people who are working at the photo shop .

in effect for a few yrs now.. cruise line said it was due to NYS law.. no idea, but has worked out okay for us tonight's weather update says tropical storm will form..go along Fl west coast/ tampa bay.. high winds and lots of rain. Suggest folks. check port Ev website and weather for east coast updates . Hope it works out for cruisers and for those along Fl west coast

Great deal...less than booking a suite.. I recall there was a cap on the number of passes..to avoid crowding..

gee.. we have had great spa experiences on X..esp since Canyon Ranch left.. No hard upsell, nice hypoallergenic products, and very professional therapists.. Guess your experirnces differed. Ascent had a very lively night life!

Too many ways on X to now "jump the line" by paying! ex. boarding access, suite perk access.. Some areas will be too crowded if it goes on and on..esp with new Crossovers from Royal C

we are old school.. A Carib cruise should include a Jimmy Buffet style singer and an Island Band, or one "man" set up.. Plus a party band... We also enjoy Jazz and Classical live music plus a good DJ. Our recent ASCENT cruise had top notch music variety including excellent acoustic group combos..not for dancing but nice to sit and enjoy..and a great Islabd style performer.

NY residents cannot buy cruise line ins. They refer you elsewhere..not the best rates. We drive to port from west coast Fla, but need medical and evac benefits. Weather for Fl west coast looks like lots of rain by Sunday a.m. ( glad we are in NY.....heat warnings here)

great review continues.. Beach, Flamingos & your happy smile were great...but the caves looked too confining..I am also not a bat fan..had enough of them in Costa Rica, and at times in Fla (I know those do good work, but I can't feel comfortable around them..even if they are asleep)

We also stock a few cans of gingerale that we let go flat.. Our local Fla weather station..west coast.. says path is not certain..either west or up alibg Fl west coast..but there will be effects/:rain by Sunday am.

Hope alot of others don't have the same idea! That happened to us in San Juan... so many stayed onboard!

if we have BIMINI as a stop on pur next few cruises , we will mark that as a stay on board day! Reviews of the Resort were def not "stellar" and seems not much else to do at this port???

What's the tour on Curacao? We have mostly gone to beaches...

We are NY Res and buy pvt ins...much better coverage...for med, evac, etc. Essential for us as US Medicare does not cover med for travel outside US

Beyond Suite was okay but Luminae very dark, not a great menu..Retreat Lounge was sterile. Outdoor area was very nice but pool is small.. abd area is crowded near bar and tables. best enjoyed on a port day! Not quite sure of the choices presented or differences..We enjoy the Inf Ver and AQ Class with BLU.

Even E Class ships will be dwarfed by MSC. In January, we were docked on ASCENT right across from a huge MSC ship in St Kitts. It really was huge and carried a different demographic... many more families. Glad we saw it up close.. not our size or style!

thanks. .So upcharge from Classic would be steeper.. $9 per glass ;plus 20% of that for grat..not worth it! Classic sounds doable for my husband who just likes a basic dinner wine..usually he is satisfied. He can also buy and bring 2 btls from Fla liquor store.
