We will be returning for the third time on the QM2.
Since she can not dock, we will be tendering into port.
Since we have exhausted all to do and are not into Mansions, will enjoy walking around especially if it is a beautiful day.
Our favorite lunch is at the Red Parrot which we are never disappointed with lunch.
We also with our past Embarkation Day, arranged a location on deck to meet before the ship departs.
A location is selected on deck and posted on the Roll Call to meet after the Muster Drill. On the QM2 we select the Observation Deck. Great way to meet before the Meet & Greet on the following day.
Hash Browns are suppose to be prepared on Grills not deep fried.
Triangles are deep fried like in Mc D. One time I saw them on the QM2 in the buffet area turned away from looking at them..
Many ships change docking directions like the QM2 in Boston or Halifax.
One placement makes the difference in departing from the dock. Backing out or departure straightforward.
One Newport visit we did spin slowly till we were straight ready at end of day.
Not just land at sea. We look forward to approach of a Port and transit a Harbor. Even docked, if you face outside the Harbor or face the Port of Call.
We enjoy facing Halifax and in Quebec the City proper..
Was not impressed this past September when we sailed in Princess Grill. To crowded at tea time, not much after dinner social crowd to meet.
Enjoyed drink in the restaurant during dinner than in Grill.
We were happy with the accommodates in Princess Grill but also Britannia Club on the sailing before.
If we needed to add to the collection of items, we would bring them from the Kings Court.
I am even using the Hot Chocolate mix at home from now on we found online.
We are happy.
