  1. Our friends ended up with transposed BD's last year for a B2B2B booking. What a mess and took several attempts over time to get it fixed. Meanwhile, they had invalid booking in App (from App perspective) and were locked out of DMW as a n example). But @realtrip had two bookings with two different cabinmates.
  2. Yet another situation where local norms and traditions can vary not only among countries, but in regions within a country. I believe tradition will see Prince George don the long pants anytime now, if not already. Check him out at the Coronation. Bermuda is another example of a place where dress shorts are normal for business even. For me, it's the overall "look" and not necessarily the components making up the "look". That said, I think about the only way a fellow cruiser would spoil my dinner is if they were sitting nearby and hadn't had a shower in a few days.
  3. Not sure what year your CT was, but I have always read and understood there is a non-alcohol option for CT and also comes at a lower price. Did you ask for that ahead of time?
  4. If you don't mind, next time add some info in your topic headline so we know what kind of help you are looking for.
  5. Well, here is a new bug I have not heard of before almost two years in this super-wonderful App. It is clear that Princess IT designed and developed the App on the presumption that if you have multiple bookings, it is always with the same cabinmate. Since the first voyage is with DH, set the birthdate that way. Or, have him login using DF birthdate and let him setup things. Same thing with your DF - she can set up dining or whatever on your behalf. You should be okay on the ship. I wouldn't think he would get tossed overboard - just you for messing with the App by not conforming to the faulty IT design.
  6. Ask your friend what they see. There have been reports of disappearing reservations. Ask your friend to check DMW on the web version of the App.
  7. I usually did as well when my parents were in eyesight. 😇
  8. I think what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
  9. If you have elected that option at the lead in and the information for that cruise states that the deposit is Non-Refundable, then yes. However, you can also book in other categories that have a Refundable deposit and let Princess choose your cabin and you wouldn't lode the FCD. Note that cancelling a booking can result in you getting a refund of the FCD if its expiry date has passed by the time you cancel the booking. If you plan to book a different cruise, you need to ask Princess to extend the expiry date before canceling the first booking and then it will be preserved in your CC Profile to be used for the new booking.
  10. Did you find the Travel Companions section/page in the App? That is where you can link up the others. Also, your TA or Princess rep should have cross-referenced all three bookings in the reservation system. If you don't have an adult on the booking, other posters have indicated and seems confirmed you cannot get in. I am not sure if Princess has a work-around, but you can call in and select the phone tree option for help getting Ocean Ready. Once you board ship, visit Guest Services to get your Medallion programmed to access the other cabins.
  11. Every booking has a 3-character Fare Code in POLAR - the booking system. Princess does not include that code on Travel Summary confirmations. Perhaps some agencies do. What guests will normally see is an agency Group Code if one was applicable. It might have been helpful if a couple of folks who got the new benefit could have posted their Fare Code. It might even be useful now if a couple of previous posters could inquire of Princess or their TA what their booking Fare Code is. I suppose it could be the then normal Plus or Premier fare code and other system logic used that and posted Military OBC to adjust the pricing and/or included perks. If our active and retired military members know the applicable Fare Code, It is easier to check and inquire if that Fare Code can be applied to a specific voyage in question. That said, having caught up on this topic, I realize the eligible voyages were a limited subset of all voyages for sale and promo may have ended Jan 31. I am not a member of the qualifying group, but do believe that PCL's efforts to attract and reward those who serve, and served, in branches of military only enhances the mix of passengers on the ships.
  12. Princess does give a cruise credit for each segment, no matter which way you book it. Either that or another unannounced lost benefit.
  13. I have found it better to book separate voyages for the B2B's every time. While I might give up some Shareholder OBC on one hand, I gain on the other. Besides opportunities to re-fare each voyage on its own, if there is overseas air involved, you can take advantage of price drops or change airlines for the one-way over or the one-way back at different times, depending on what pricing you see. I saved us literally hundreds of dollars with ability to jump on better air arrangements as they occurred instead of being locked in with a round-trip booking. I look at all OBC's as well, but I generally lean on side of separate bookings with things being close or equal. Of course, we also want to get the same cabin throughout and with early booking, generally not a problem.
  14. Start of disembark may be delayed, but typically not by much. You can just leave the ship whenever it opens and return later. Your Medallion will already be programmed for the full length of your booking. They must do a partial zero as they know who is supposed to be ending their voyage at a turnaround port.
  15. No, just fire her ass and find a good one that discounts the cruise fare. They are out there believe me and there are agencies in the US that will compete for your business. You can Google for that and will probably find some good info. Also, ask around folks you meet on this upcoming cruise and you may get some good referrals to follow up on.
  16. No SD restaurant is open for lunch on any day other than a Salty Dog type outlet, or the new Irish pub (O'Malley's is it not?).
  17. Yes. Look up the res on Delta website.
  18. If you cancel a service on board, and it is a refundable service (for example, there are time limits for cancelling an excursion), then you are entitled to a refund. It goes to your on board account.
