We like a flight around 11am-noon (EWR) to get back to the west coast. You can Uber/Lyft or taxi...we've done both.

Agree...I prefer booking everything directly...no 3rd party needed for us.

This is exactly what we experienced when we sailed on RCI Mariner from Singapore to Shanghai. In addition to the above the pools were empty. We loved this particular itinerary and wish RCI would offer it again. -

We call the room service line and I start by saying "I'm ordering from the MDR menu"...no problem.

We absolutely have enjoyed a tour with "Glory Tours"...check out this very popular company.

And the dock is right across from town and is an easy walk. Check out "Holy Donuts" a favorite of not only ours but many on these boards. Looking forward to our port stop there again this October.

Also remember once booked when doing a check for a price reduction you insert these options as well. We've gotten these rates on occasion before final payment was due.

The entire room service menu is available free of charge (24 hours) for GS's and above. Also you can order from the MDR menu during their hours of service. Ordering breakfast from the MDR is a favorite of ours as is late night (before 9:00pm) MDR desert to be delivered. Enjoy !!!

RCL - Distilled Water?

RCI will provide you with a new unopened gallon jug of distilled water and an extension cord if needed and is complimentary. Just add this request to your booking or call special needs (866) 592-7225. You can also just request this from your cabin steward when you arrive to your cabin. Don't be concerned with this at all..many request these. -
If they have a room available they will more than likely let you check in early. This has no relevance to who you booked with.

More than likely you'll dock at Havensight. Crown Bay is where RCI and Celebrity dock.

Not by choice but we've made a 9:45am flight. Around 11-noon would be very easy to do.

This is an easy port. The ship will day port at the Old Town pier then just cross the street and enjoy the old town area.

Take your luggage to the Barrachina restaurant (Old Town) and they provide a luggage hold. You can then explore the area on your own and taxi to SJU before your flight. Easy to do this.

We stayed at the Banks Mansion hotel in Amsterdam this past July for our pre-cruise days. Loved this hotel and amenities and especially the location. -
Yes....We enjoy the diner style breakfast at JR's.

Thanks to all the above for some great suggestions. How's first class on AS Airbus A321? Price and flight times seems great for Oct 4th. Cruising out of Cape Liberty RCI Liberty.

We stayed at Homes2Suites for our Cape Canaveral departure cruise this past April and we used Cruise Control (amazing service from this company) for our shuttle from MCO to hotel and from cruise terminal back to MCO. Home2Suites did offer a shuttle to port ($). Cruise Control...(888) 416-8830

We'll be flying LAX-EWR in early October for our Canada/NE cruise. Trying to decide between these two connection cities, DTW or MSP ...flight details and pricing is similar. Any reason to choose one over the other? Thanks, as these airports are new ones for us.
